, expensive thing. i had a ballroom in the city. all the sudden, we said we would win. we knew we would win because we won pennsylvania even though they wouldn't call it. i called it at 3:00 in the morning when it should have called at 11:00 in the evening. if you look at the ratings, they were so high that they are making a fortune by not calling it. then we won before pennsylvania and the state of michigan. everyone said -- [applause] then they started to have the cameras. i said it last night, we had one guy who was really good on the maps, you know who i am talking about. that amount was so red, it was so unbelievable. that used to show it and it was really depressing. everything was blue, blue, blue. they had the blue wall. remember the blue wall that was unbreakable? did we shatter that wall? that wall was shattered. that wall will never be the same.
so we broke the wall. now we once a wisconsin. now we want to michigan. -- now we won wisconsin. now we won michigan. and i will never forget the guide was devastated. he never even thought of this. his hand is quivering. he puts it on the map and the map turns red. donald trump has won the state of wisconsin. no.o, oh please check this. donald trump has won the state of michigan. [applause] and it is very unfair to the people of pennsylvania. they never got the glory. it was like the guy who could and did not yard get the glory. but we love our people in pennsylvania. so now he goes, now he goes. because there -- because they were saying there was no way to get to the most they could get
270. was 269. they get paid a lot of money and they don't know what they are talking about. -- they do not know what the hell they are talking about, folks. i never once got above 269. i was watching it for months. that's why i got upset with texas. texas that they would win it. so what happened was, that is like if going there. i needed that one. then what happens is he says wisconsin, michigan, and now he path forre is no hillary clinton to become president of the united states. [applause] donald trump, and is great movement, is president of the
united states. [applause] so it was pretty great. , [applause] it was pretty good. and some sports casters at espn said that is as good at -- that is as good as it is going to get. they called entertainment and i guess it was. but in another way it is not because we are going to get to work. the hard work begins and we are going to make great trade deals and we want to make you so happy and so proud. and jeff sessions will make you so happy and so proud. [applause] for years, the jobs and wealth have been ripped out of our country. foreign powers have gotten rich
leading america dry. and not a lot of people knowing better than the people of alabama and the people in the south in general. but that is all behind us. we are going to stand up for the american worker like nobody has ever stood up for that worker before. [applause] our economic agenda can be summed up in three very beautiful words -- jobs, jobs, jobs! [applause] there is a woman out there that got very excited by those three words. that's exciting, right? that is why we will lower our business tax rate from 35% to 15%. you are going to see things happen. [applause] we are one of the highest in the
world right now, just about the highs, and we will be among the lowest, and you will see what is going to happen. it will be beautiful. that is why we are also going to eliminate job killing regulations. [applause] and misty the restrictions -- and lift the restrictions on the production of american energy. including shale, oil, natural gas, and beautiful, clean, call. -- and beautiful, clean code -- and beautiful, clean, coal. our miners are going back to work. we're also going to rebuild america possibly infrastructure. and boy, does it need it. trillion in the middle east. we could have rebuilt our country three times over. folks.me with all of that, we are going to knock the hell devices.
we have no choice. -- we're going to knock the held out of is -- you are going to knock the helli out of isis. we have no choice. [applause] i am asking congress to support the construction of new roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, all across this nation. we will put our people back to work. [applause] it is time to help get americans off welfare and back into the labor market. rebuilding this country with american hands by american workers. [applause] my administration will follow two very simple rules -- by buy american, and higher american. and we are going to go back to the old days, remember? american. remember? usa,
-- miserable, but who cares? we are soaking wet right now, but it does not matter. "time magazine" just gave me person of the year. always a great honor. "the financial times" just gave me person of the year. are you ready? half the people here are women, and by the way, thank you, women. by the way, i did so great with women. those polls were so dishonest with women. because the did great. i used to go home and my wife said i don't think any woman and the united states will vote for you based on what they just saw. we did great with women. we degrade with the african-american -- we did great with the african-american community. we did great. [applause] cities, i said in a
remember i said what you have to lose? they agreed. we did great with african-americans. we degrade with hispanics. i said we are going to build a wall, but they wanted it also. they want their jobs protected. they want safety, they don't want drugs pouring into our country. we did great. we did great with women. i have to tell you, folks, because i was very embarrassing. those polls were so wrong. -- they wereng it wrong on everything. ok, so i get this person of the "the financial times," and "time magazine" this week. which one is better? if it is a woman that gets it, we have to think about it. so they do it because they want to be politically correct. you run the magazine, you run "the financial times," or you run "time magazine." thank you, darling.
i love you, too. do you go man of the year, or person of the year? which is better? person of the year? wow! or man of the year? [applause] that's what i thought. it is pretty simple. if it is a woman, you go woman of the year, right? right? right? they are all seen "yes." so we had a lot of fun, we have , done more. at the center of our agenda is fixing our terrible trade deals. america is now running nearly $800 billion in annual trade deficits. i ask the grey car dealer, one of the biggest in the country, the you think you can negotiate a slightly better deal than this?
work withof this trade, and we are losing, or we have a deficit of over almost $800 billion a year. it is a most like what are we doing? people who negotiate you still? there are some of snow country we do well with. we have bad deals in every country. that is going to change fast. is that right? our country has lost one third of its manufacturing jobs since nafta. one third. when i first saw this, and i can say it because this is the last time i will be speaking at a rally for maybe a while, you know? they say as president, he should not be doing rallies, but i think we should, right? [applause] we have done everything else the opposite. this is the way that you get an honest word out. because you can i give it to them because they are so dishonest. [appla
