adjusted earnings of 5 cents a share missed expectations. dow jones and the wall street journal. dreamworks animation rallying 10% of extended trading after surprise reported profit, it benefited from the dvd and blu-ray releases of home and it's only movie of the year but that was enough. >> nicole: how about shake shack. shares jumping 5% in extended trading after the company raised outlook for the year again, sales topped $53 million. earnings 12 cents all blowing away the estimates. the company now expects sales at existing restaurants to be up 11-12%. that's certainly a good number. that's up from the press forecast from the mid to high-single digits. >> cheryl: it certainly is.

we've got some news, i do anyway, oprah winfrey, she is saying good-bye to her chicago staff. it's going to be laying off employees in chicago, beginning next month, the company is relocating to california, 183 employees will be out of a job just in time for christmas, the news should not be a surprised. winfrey had warned them that their jobs would be eliminated. >> nicole: state of new york is investigating exxon mobile on whether exxon misled about the risk of climate change, confirm that had the company had received a subpoena from the office of the attorney general in new york related to the subject of climate change. >> cheryl: here is a look at the headlines, oil slump, forces
