the weather for us. >> we are tracking spring like weather. part of string is giving you areas of heavy rain and possibly severe storms. that is what is going on across parts of the plains today compared to the spring like temperatures across the country. you can see early this morning it is already busy out there across parts of texas you are dealing with storms and parts of oklahoma. we are expecting that coverage to continue out there and increase later on today and into tonight across places like texas and also into oklahoma. looking at threats of damaging winds. the latest risk area is in southern texas. there is a potential for tornadoes as well. anywhere from central texas and into places like oklahoma. it will be a busy picture through out today.
