it is time to shake the rough? rust off america's policies. it is time to invite new voices and new visions into the fold. we will reestablish. appoint justices to the supreme court of the united states who will oppose and defend our constitution. we are going to drain the swamp of corruption in washington, d.c. we are going to make america great again, greater than before. >> now, let's start with one of our major topics that got americans fired up on the trail. a magic grace. he promised he would build a wall before chemical illegal immigrants and more. >> let's start with our signature issue on immigration, which is you are going to build the wall. >>lo 100%. >> who is going to pay for the
wall? >> [applauding] >> here is my question. >> what has been interesting, i've been watching over the last week or two and been saying maybe he won't build the wall, maybe what -- jeb bush said you never build well. >> i think people now realize we are building the wall. it is going to happen. it's 100% simple. i told a story all the time. the great wall of china, 13,000 miles long, this is a thousand miles that we have caterpillar tractors to build. it is a thousand miles. it is 2,000, but we need 1,000. it is so easy to do. it gets higher and higher and higher everybody says i am not going to do it. >> [applauding] >> i think the time frame, if you get elected president of the united states of america -- [applauding]
according to the clown, how long will it take you to build that wall, start to finish? >> i am very good at it, almost immediately. now, if you will believe it, they were going to build the wall a while ago, not so wonderful. long ago. they couldn't get environmental to back it.en can you believe it? ? lucky because it was such a little work, it was such a nothing will. they couldn't get their environment, probably a snake was in the way or a toad. >> or a turtle. stick or something you've never heard of, but something was in the way. you think of china and the south of china sea where they are building's massive fortress. they are building this massiveth military fortress and digging that water, digging, digging. you know what happened, let's do it on sunday, and on monday morning they started. in our case, look, that will gets done very quickly.
i got, as you know, a lot of the border patrol agents here tonight. we have 16,500 border patrol agents that know the border better than anybody. their job is much easier without trump it because i have to let everybody keep going by. these are unbelievable people. they see what's happening, they see what is coming in, and they want it stopped. look, they want people to come in, but they want the people to be vetted. here is the story, so theyey endorse them. first time in the history of the that they've border patrol. endorsed the president. >> the next -- >> one other thing we have to say, and mexico will pay for the wall. they have to pay for the wall. >> let me ask youth this. the current president of mexico said he would meet with you. will you meet with him? >> yes, sure. i would meet with him. >> they are not going to write you a check.
how do you get them to pay? >> on trade, they are absolutely killing us. they are killing us at the border, they are killing us on tray. we have a trade deficit with mexico of close to $60 billion a year. so right there, you can build a wall because the wall is a fraction of that. right there. we lose a fortune on trade, and that doesn't include the drugs that are pouring across the border, which is probably doubled or tripled or somethingh >> i have covered the border now for years on this program. the rio grande to san diego and everywhere in between 12 times. i've been down there. i have seen drug warehouses, i have seen troubles that show some of the pictures. my next question is, and this is where you seem to in the last week the revisiting the issue of sending everybody back that is here illegally. tell us where you stand on that. >> we want to follow the laws. we have very strong laws. i don't know if you know but
bush and even obama sends people back. we could be more aggressive than that, but we want to follow the laws. if you sick going around trying to make new laws in this country, it is a process that is brutal. we want to follow the laws of the country, and we follow the laws we can do what we have to do. >> let me say. >> we got some great people in this country. they shouldn't be in here with great people. we got some really bad gang members and to some horrible people. >> start with them. >> those people are going out. they are going to be the first order i send. >> day one another question has come up a lot. what about people that work hard and have been here a long time, they own homes, they have their properties.om this is a question everybody's going to want answered. what about them?oi do they have to go back, or would you reconsider? >> we are going to follow the laws of the country.
they have to go back to mexico we are going to see who people are, we are going to see how they have done. if you believe in a marriage a simple but when people commit as an example, do you believe in a marriage of them? one of the things it is very unfair withg leaving people is that you have years and years ol people waiting online.er they've gone through a process, they file, legally, and they are great people in some cases. i guess in some cases, maybe not. you have really great people wanting to come into a country, and now what you would be doing is taking people away from that line. >> is there any part of the law that you might be able to change that would accommodate those people who contribute to society, have been law-abiding, have kids here?om with therere be any room in your mind -- because i know you had a meeting this week. >> i had a meeting with great people, great hispanic leaders, and they are can certainly be a softening because we are not looking to hurt people. we have some great people in this country.
we have some great, great people in this country. we are going to follow the laws of this country. people don't realize, what people don't realize, we have very, very strong laws. >> but obama doesn't follow them. >> they don't follow them. but we will. >> we have 11.3 million illegal immigrants in the country now. you set immediately last night, all criminal aliens out day one. [applauding] >> by the way, that is so simple. there are some things were a sort of feel bad, and this one -- we have these killers in this country that are heading up gangs. you go out, exactly, exactly. >> they lost children, right here behind you. >> those guys, if we ever find them, if i am president, oh. [applauding] >> bravo! >> the immigration system, we must change our leadership in
washington and we must change it quickly. sadly, sadly, there is no other way. the truth is our immigration system is worse than anybody ever realized, but the facts are known because the media won't report on them. the politicians won't talk about them. and a special interest spend a lot of money trying to cover them up because they are making absolute fortune. that is the way it is. today, on a very complicated and very difficult subject, you will get the truth. [applauding] >> the fundamental problem with the immigration system in our country is that it servess the needs of wealthy donors, political activist, and powerful, powerful politicians.

[applauding] let me tell you who it does not serve. it does not serve you, the american people. it doesn't serve you. when politicians talk about immigration reform, they usually mean the following, amnesty, open borders, lower wages. immigration reform should mean something else entirely. it should mean improvements to our laws and policies to make life better for americans citizens. we will terminate the obama administration's deadly, and it is deadly, nonenforcement policies that allow thousands of
criminal aliens to freely roam our streets, walk around, do whatever they want to do, crimee all over the place. that is over.do that'sve over, folks. that's over. [applauding] >> since 2013 alone, the obama administration has allowed 300,000 criminal aliens to return back into united states communities. these are individuals -- [booing]s encountered or identified by ice but who are not detained or processed for deportation. because it wouldn't have been politically correct. aliens immediately. we will restore the highly successful secure communities program, good program. we will expand and revitalize the popular 287g partnerships, which will help to identify hundreds of thousands of deportable aliens in local jails that we don't even know about. both of these programs have been recklessly guided by this administration, and those were programs that work. this is yet one more area where we are headed in a totally opposite direction. there is no common sense, there is no brainpower in our administration by our leader or our leaders. none. none, none, none. on my first day in office, i am
also going to ask congress to pass kate's law, named for kate steinle to ensure that criminal aliens convicted of a legal reentry receive strong mandatory minimum sentences. strong. and then we get them out. another reform i am proposing is the passes of legislation name for detective michael davis and deputy sheriff danny oliver, to law enforcement officers recently killed by a previously deported, illegal immigrant. the davis-oliver bill will enhance cooperation with state and local authorities to ensure
that criminal immigrants and terrorists are swiftly, really swiftly, identified and removed, and theysw will go fast, believe me.nd they are going to go fast. we are going to triple the number of ice deportation officers. [applauding] within ice, i am going to create a new special deportation task force, focused on identifying and quickly removing the most dangerous criminals illegal immigrants in america who have evaded justice, just like hillary clinton has evaded justice, okay. our immigration that is my policy on immigration is so simple. we will restore the civil rights of african-americans, hispanic americans and all americans by
endingme illegal immigration, ad yes we will build a wall. we will build a wall! he is suspected of opening fire inside the ice club on new year's eve, killing 39 people. he managed to slip from the scene by taking advantage of the chaos that ensued. a computer outage causing long lines for international travelers trying to enter the u.s. u.s. customs and border protection outage has reportedly been resolved, but is not clear yet what caused it. it is also unclear how widespread the problem was, but the issues were reported in miami, fort lauderdale, atlanta, and dulles international airport. i am kelly wright, now back to "hannity." ♪ >> and welcome back to this special edition of "hannity: trump's promises." during the campaign, president-elect trump found he would repeal and replace obamacare, but how exactly will that done.but how exactly will he hears what he said. >> you promised to release the name that people would know your judicial philosophy. you are making a promise to
balance the budget. you're making a promise to build a wall. he made a promise to repeal obamacare and replace it with. >> you don't even have to repeal. we are going to do it before it happens. it is going to implode, and in fact, on november 1st, new numbers are coming out. right before the election. they are trying to change the date, they want to make it after the election. the election. increased necessary to sustain obamacare, it is going to be massive. everyone is talking about. nobody would change that date. >> you want to replace it with, savings?nt to replace it with, >> maybe? but there are so many other things. just so you understand, once we get competition going with free enterprise but they have to go and compete instead of having states as a monopoly you get rid of the borders, you get rid of the lines they can go outside once we get rid of that, ands almost had it this time, they could have had at this time, and you would've seen such competition. there will be plans, health care plans, that you never even heard

old that they go to junkyards to get parts. they go to airplane graveyards to take parts uphold planes that haven't been flown in 25 years. they are taking parts of these planes and trying to put them on and fix them on our fighter jets. we are really in trouble. >> let's talk about obamacare. you talked about eliminating it. he talked about affordability, pre-existing conditions, and health care savings accounts. do believe health care is the antidote? >> i think it is one of them. i think it is a great alternative. they were, they are fabulous. you can move, you can do whatever you want to do.ts everybody wants him. he will save money. you have much better plans. look at what's going on with obamacare. the rates are going through the roof. at deductibles, you won't even get to use it unless you have a real big long lasting problem. no, no. it is a certainly one method,ro and if there are many, by the way sean, i don't always mention that, but there are many methods. b
they will all be better. you don't have to be limited to one or two. we can use other methods. other peoplele will be paying a lot less money, sean, they will be paying a lot less money for a lot better care. >> i will ask congress to convene a special session so we can repeal and replace, and it will be such an honor for me, for you, and for everybody in this country because obamacare has to be replaced, and we will do it and we will do it very, very quickly. it is a catastrophe. the president said if you like your plan, you can keep your plan. if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, which may go down as one of the great political lies of the century. even the skeptical democrats believed him and approved the legislation. there were democrats that were very much against it, but they
believed him, and they approvedm it. no one ever read, or certainly very few people, the 2,700 page bill, to this day, nobody understands it. the obama administration has the obama administration has digits and triple digits obamacare premium prices. everywhere all throughout the country. here in pennsylvania premiums are goingg to increase more than 60%, and that is nothingho compared to what will happen in the m future. of course, in the future, if i am president, there won'tpe be obamacare, see won't have to worry. [applauding] that means parents won't have enough money to pay their bills or get medicine for their kids. in the great state of arizona, a wonderful place i just left, premiums will go up even higher than 116%. other states are go up more than
60%, 70%, 80%, 90%. deductibles can go to $12,000, $13,000, $14,000, even $15,000. in other words, your health care won't even be usable. you are paying all this money, you won't even get to use it. people all across the country devastated. there health care costs are more than their mortgage costs or their rent, which by the way is a first in american history. this is particularly unfair to millennials and younger americans, generally, who will be totally crushed by these massive health care costs before they even get started on their journey through life. one-third of the counties, think of this, one-third of the counties in pennsylvania it will have only a single insurance
company left if you have that. that includes, philadelphia, where i went to school. "the associated press" found that some of the 440,000 pennsylvania consumers who buy insurance there healthcare.gov will face some of the highest premium increases in the nation. people of philadelphia. premiums are soaring, doctors are quitting, companies are fleeing, and deductibles go through the roof. worker's hours are being cut, hiring has frozen, totally frozen, and wages are being slashed. obamacare means higher prices, fewer choices, and lower quality. our replacement plan includes health savings accounts, a nationwide insurance market where you can purchase across state lines and letting states manage medicaid dollars.
so much better. we will create quality, reliable, affordable health care in a free market where parents can make the health care decisions that they really want to make for their families. it will be a much better health care at a much less expensive cost. i have led a great life, and i truly love our country. so now i want to get back to the country that's been so good to me. that is why i am doing this. [applauding] all i see, everywhere i travel in this nation, and i have been everywhere, is uncapped potential waiting to be realized. the people are amazing. the people are amazing. if we unlock the potential of this country, and it's incredible people, no dream is outside of our reach. in the 1940s, we save the world, the greatest generation beat back the nazis and japanese imperialist. then we save the world again. this time from totalitarianism and communism, the cold war. it lasted for decades, but guess what? we won, and we won big. democrats and republicans working together got mr. gorbachev to heed the words of president reagan, our great president, when he said "tear down this wall!" history will not forget what he did. very special, special man and president. unfortunately, after the cold war, our foreign policy veeredor badly off course. newy off course. vision for a new time. in fact, as time went on, ourwe foreign policy began to make less and less sense.
logic was replaced with foolishness and arrogance which led to one foreign policy disaster after another. they just kept coming and coming. we went from the states and iraq to egypt to libya to president obama's line in the sand in syria.ra each of these actions have helped to throw the region into chaos and gave isis the space it needs to grow and prosper. very bad. it all began with a dangerous idea that we could make western democracies out of countries that had no experience or interest in becoming a western democracy. we tore up what institutions they had, and then were surprised at what we unleashed. civil war, religious fanaticism, thousands of americans and just killed lives, lives, lives wasted, horribly wasted. many trillions of dollars were
lost as a result. the vacuum was created that isis would fill. iran, too, would rush in and fill that void. much to their really unjust enrichment. they have benefited so much, so sadly for us. our foreign policy is a complete and total disaster. the situation is likely worse than the public has any idea. a new congressional report reveals that the administration has downplayed the growth of has downplayed the growth of they have experienced efforts to manipulate their findings. they are trying to make it look much better than it is. it's bad. at the same time, isis is trying to infiltrate refugees flows into europe into the united states. iran, the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism, is now
flush with $150 billion in cash released by the united states. plus, if you remember from two weeks ago, another $400 million in actual cash that was obviously used for ransom. worst of all, the nuclear deal puts iran the number one state sponsor of t radical islamic terrorism, on a path to nuclear weapons. the obama-clinton foreign policy has only sizes, destabilize the middle east and put the nation of iran, which chance "death to america," and a dominant position of regional power, and in fact, aspiring to be dominant dominant world power. world power. this is my pledge to the american people, as your president, i will be your single greatest champion.

you said you wanted an original, you said you wanted people like antonin scalia and clarence thomas on the supreme court. tell us about this listph of names. >> i've been having a lot of feedback from a lot of different people, and i have, as you know, have tremendous endorsements. i'm a conservative, and i may have different views of different things. i am extremely conservative, as an example of trade, but a conservative would say i am not because i don't necessarily believe.k i don't believe in big deals for the united states. >> what do you do on trade? >> my view is good deals of the united states. it was a very simple view. if you can call it conservative, you call it whatever you want, but what the judges are saying, what happens if he appoints the wrong judges? what we did and i just have it, we just took -- >> tell me these names. >> i thought what i would do is put this forward and this wouldn be we would either choose from or pick people very close, in terms of the spirit and the meaning that they represent.
justice scalia is mentioned here right up front as being just one of our great judges and one of our great justices. >> this is your judicial philosophy. one of the things i think people question. i had interviewed you a lot during this process. you gave me very specific things. one of the top things i would ask you often is your judicial philosophy. you mentioned scalia and thomas. they are what originalist, constitutionalist. you are a constitutionalist. >> correct. i am also a high intellect. i want great intellect people. they are pro-life. that is my list. we are going to choose from, most likely, from this list. at a minimum, we will keep people within this general realm. again, i have people that have said really like me, like everything i stand for, but would really like to knowat perhaps outside of the defense
of our country, perhaps the single most important thing the next president is going to have to do is fix the supreme court. >> it is an impact for generations to come. >> generations. i would say if hillary clinton, who is doing very poorly in this whole rigged system that bernie sanders happens to be in, if hillary clinton for some reason wins, our country will never be the same. because she is going to put disasters on the supreme court. these are --ry >> this is interesting because there might've been some people -- i talked to people on the radio show, some people have said donald trump is a recent convert to conservatism. i asked you very specific questionons. for example, you say you want to balance budget. actually told me once that you don't want to steal from our
kids. >> i do want a balanced budget. we could do a lot quicker. i've heard people say they will balance a budget within 20 years i am saying 20 years, what are you talking about? i do want a balanced budget. you have to understand, i was you have to understand, i was started my business. i was in brooklyn, queens with my father, but i moved to manhattan and started doing very, very well in manhattan. when you look at the statistics on manhattan, whether you like them or don't like them, it is very democrat, and i think probably a lot of people feel because i come from essentially manhattan i would be that way. i wanted to put this list out because i wanted to quell any fears that people had. this is a list of people that i got from people i most respect. >> you vetted each one. you almost did it like a job interview. >> really, i vetted but too much greater extent, the federalist society vetted and has tremendous respect, heritage is look at it, who i have great respect for. i know senator sessions has brought the names around to different people in the senate.
