our nation's capitol in washington, d.c., the make america great again welcome celebration. we have been hearing from some incredible fans out there, bands out there. lee greenwood and 3 doors down. pretty entertaining music. >> oh, yeah. fantastic. there are a lot of balls tonight but those guys have the most because they showed up. 35% of the democrats didn't turn out for the inauguration. what is it about liberals never showing up for work? it's a salary. it ain't welfare, you deadbeats. they should fill those seats with all the detainees they released from gitmo. apparently they are so harmless. >> and sharing the theme of positive energy, thank you for those charming words, greg. what do you make of this? incredibly beautiful shot. >> i have to say the advance team and the production team that put that shot together,
it's stunning. from a production standpoint, look at the lincoln memorial in the background, and mother nature has cooperated so well. it's beautiful. i'm very impressed. i had a good time teaching them the lyrics to "god blessed texas." they caught on. they were singing. >> eric, and incredibly moving moment, and you see the president-elect donald j. trump along with his wife melania and their family members and joining them. celebrating and taking in this amazing moment. >> it was stunning. we came up on the show at 5:00 and lee greenwood came out and played "god bless america." i was fighting back tears but i was so proud of everything that was going on. i agree with dana. my line was going to be god even cooperated with donald trump's inauguration bird mother nature, we'll take back. >> i was trying to be
all-inclusive and gender-neutral. >> lee greenwood playing "proud to be an american," i was blown away. >> think about the risk that a band like 3 doors down is taking. they will never be liked by their peers again. they they are getting amazing exposure and that's important. this is a brave act for an artist because they are going to be so despised by the liberals. >> half the country who is pro trump may decide they like 3 doors down. >> very positive moment. what do you think, juan? >> i really do think dana is right. this is a spectacular view and the sky is just gorgeous. i like lee greenwood. you know what's great about this is walking around d.c. today, there are so many different kinds of people here today. you see the bikers in town, lots of people who i don't think think of themselves as, you
know, friendly to washington are here in big numbers with their families. and that's pretty cool. this thing is going to cost, i'm told, like $200 million. something like that. it's going to be the most expensive and inaugural ever but it's not because of anything donald trump is doing. he's got three balls, basically, which is a whole lot less than obama or even george w. bush. it's because of security. i think there are going to be protesters here as well so in addition to what we are seeing which is the joy of the moment and the pass of power from one administration to another, it's going to be a big weekend in d.c. for protest. >> can i point out something else? that man, donald trump, he stood up. he was clapping. >> he liked it. singing along. >> he gave a big hug to lee greenwood. >> i am telling you tomorrow you

president of the united states. he won the election. this is his moment. he gets to connect with the millions of people, those who supported him from day one and those who are waiting to see what he will do and what he will offer. it's time to unify and say i want to be the president for all of you and stressed that message. can come riding in on a horse. what about that? like ulysses s grant. he said he had been subject to slander and abuse and he viewed the election as vindication and he was right. >> i don't think peta would like him on a horse. especially not an elephant. >> on election night when he gave his remarks, i remember a lot of people were like wow, great message. imagine going to hear more of that. it will be interesting to see if he tries any humor. in an inaugural address, you usually don't have an attempt at
humor but if anyone can pull it off, he could in a way that brings people together. as we said before the show started, laughter is the best medicine. >> i was joking. >> eric, is it going to be scripted? >> i hope he stays on script. short enough where he can, what he likes to do and you can see when he does it. he will be on the script and on the prompter and then off the prompter and throw in some anecdotal information. i am blown away at how beautiful this whole thing is. i think it's fantastic. can we stay positive for a little bit? i love this. this is amazing. >> who are these people? are they -- ravi drum.
