"" jessica rae: lamar odom is now in california. a week after he was found unresponsive inside a brothel, e-s-p-n reports odom has been taken to a hospital in los angeles. he'll continue his recovery there. reporter andrew spencer has the latest on his condition.
the photos obtained by daily-mail-dot-com appear to show lamar odom inside the love ranch outside las vegas. it's not clear when they're taken. in one photo, the former n-b-a star sitting up with a bottle of water in hand. in the others, he appears to be unconscious. again... it's not clear if he's just sleeping. odom would later be taken to the hospital, after being found unresponsive. brothel employees say pinkish fluid was coming out of his mouth and nose. odom has spent a week in various hospitals. e-s-p-n reports -- just last night -- a helicopter took odom from a hospital in las vegas to one in southern california. one of odom's former coaches says his condition is improving. orange city announced he will rurufor the distriri fourth seat when it comemeopen in 20- 17. wheeler works in sheldon and is 2015 northwestern college graduate. jessica rae: after more than 2 years of back and forth debate... a more than century old sioux city home will finally come down. sioux city, city council guaranteed the demolition on a three to two vote the rose hill mansion at 15-29 grandview was red tagg months ago... but one-time owner james gengler managed to keep the home from the wrecking ball with multiple legal maneuvers. council members keith radig and pete groetken voted against the demolition... but hebert construction of sioux city now has the green light to clear the home site. jessica rae: also, at last night's city council meeting... a plan to renovate sioux city police and fire headquarters is now in the works. the more than two-million dollar project is moving forward after a 5-0 vote. built about 30 years ago... the building at 6th and douglas
streets has serious roof and infrastructure problems. council approved the multi-milllln dollar agreeeent with sioux cocoractors. work is expected to being before the end of the year with completion expected in early 2017. jessica rae: sioux city, ci council also gave the green light to a consulting group from wisconsin for site analysis and planning for future build-outs at chris larsen park. the study costs about 45-thousand dollars. when complete the city will use the information to update riverfront property formerly used by the argosy casino. but you'll see on john wilcox's farm. natpop -- john pulling up radishes. john p pnts cover crops during the healthier soil. phosphorus and potassiuiuand our crops, soybeans and corn, have a difficult time extracting those from soil. but he says cover this year..he's and field peas. field peas have an out of the soil. so they absorb it into the plant..and when they die they release it back out soybean and the corn can get the nutrient easier now because it's in a more organic form," said john cover crops increase the number of organisms living in the soil. it also reduces erosion..and cuts the amount of nitrates that leak into ground water. and those aren't the only benefits john has reaped. "i saw pretty close to a five bushel increase on my soybeans where we did it," said wilcox, plants cover crops. john says it cost him about 25 dollars per acre...t.tplant the crops using a crop duster. but farmers can get financial assistance. "those incentives are available to producers who may have never tried cover crops before and would like

from sibley- ocheyedan has been fired after he was found asleep in a classroom with a student. but some community members are coming to the defense of the coach, saying the situation is not what it seems. abc9 news reporter reporter elisa raffa has the details. "kyle is this student's dad. not legally, not by blood, but he is this student's dad." kyle ewinger was terminated on thursday, after superintendede bill boer walked in on ewinger sleeping next to an elementary student in his middle school social studies classroom. citing the violation of several
disciplinary codes, the school board decided to fire him. meeting, ewinger expressed that this student is more like his son. he claimed the two had returned from an out-of-town football game that friday night. when he went to take the boy home his grandmother's and no one ewinger said he tried totoake the boy home, but his door didn't want to wake up his family. the two went back to the school to sleep in the classroom for a few hours before referee the next that's when the superintendent walked in on the two sleeping on an air matress. many supporters echoed the claim in mind. his homework, he has football kids tutoring him, he got school every day, he feeds him, he gives him allowance...he things a parent does for a child " sasa kim van der slslt, parent of three in the sibley- the school board
voted 4-1 to terminathis employment from the school. kim says it's frustrating that suspension wasn't an option, especially since they had not yet investigated. a second meeting is being held monday evening to discuss the actions of the superintendent who found them in the classroom. "if you walked into a situtation where you didn't have any idea what was happening, you walked back out. and bill boer told us that he just didn't know what was happening, he put his hands up and said i don't even know what's happening here and he walked out of the room" says kim van der sloot, parent of three in the sibley- ocheyedan district. jessica rae: we reached out for comment from superintendent boer and all the members of the school board on the matter, but they either declined to comment or didn't return calls. the osceola county sheriff explained they were notified of the situation..... but are removed d from the process until needed. fter their inveigation, if they

(christina owens) "i love animals! and i'm a little crazy. no." christina runs utah lost and found pets, helping place those 46 animals in foster homes. tephanie smith) "so is she ready foror adoption, then?" but powder's playground today is no park-- it's an airport. (christina owens) "i was gonna have my fosters meet me here, and then i thought about it and i was like yiu know..." this plane isn't filled with toys or doggie treats. (nats) it's packed with dogs. (christina owens) "oh, he's here? where? like he just landed?" yes, the only passengers on this plane are puppies. (christina owens) "they're euthanized, and taken out in black garbage bagsgs and taken to t t landfill." she says many people simply don't understand the importance of spaying and neutering their pets... (nats) making days like this part of a neverending cycle. (christina owens) "we take out 50, 50 more come in the next day. these guys? they have no voices. (gets emotional) they have no one to help t tm. some of them have never even felt a human hand, other than to be mean to them." but these dogs have little to worry about. many are now getting their first taste of freedom and some are a little eager to start their new lives.
