rehnstrom tim and im tim seaman. a wellllno sioux city restaurant was hit by fire this morning.... but the owner of sneaky's chicken says, 'don't count them out..' jenna: the call came in about the fire at sneaky's on gordon drive about 9:30 this morning... while the owner and a few employees were inside. there was heavy smoke coming from the storage attachment behind the resturant but the fire never entered the building. there was heavy smoke inside however. three employees inside at the time were able to get out safely. "the actuaua structure on thehe inside of the restaurant is in good shape. we have a lot of smoke damage, a lot of soot. so, we'll be doing some serious clean up and rebuilding" says dave ferris, owner, sneaky's restaurant and catering. jenna: ferris says the community outpouring of ort he's already experienced has been incredible. "it has been unbelieveable from the facebook to the text messages to the phone calls...i would say literally we've had over 300 phone calls and text messages from friends and businesses" says dave ferris, owner, sneaky's restaurant and catering.

closed for the time being, but ferris says not to worry. he already has plans in the works to serve his catering customers through other venues and rebuild the restaurant. tim: omaha fire officials say they will have to sift through four floors of debris to get answers to a weekend explosion and fire that gutted a well known restraunt and bar. m's pub in the old flames saturday crews didn't stop onto the property until this morning. there's still no cause for the fire but investigators are looking into work underground construction area. leaks were detected. tim: are back at the state capitol in des moines. and they wasted the 2016 session reporter amanda krenz has more of the 86th general assembly. winner. dominguez is a pipefitter for performance contractors, the company working on the c-f industries expansion. he said he found the winning numbers online and when he told his wife they had won, she thought he was joking. tim: with the recent drawing not bringing in a jackpot winner, plenty of folks will be looking to cash in this wednesday night that estimated powerball jackpot is right now at one- point-four billion and could continue to rise before this wednesday's drawing. tickets are available until the drawing at 9pm on wednesday night. jenna: stores like bacon creek general store are seeing an increase in customer numbers with folks coming in to purchase what would hopefully be the winning ticket. we spoke to onenetaff member at the store and they are surprised at the jackpot amount and hopes for another big sioux city winner. "yes, very.... i was shocked. it would be exciting for everybody , we have alot of regular customers and it'd be real exciting." says cashier lolita scism.

the line for him...a cardiac surgeon at mercy hospital refused to give up. " it just hit me like that," said mike bacon. "i was good in the morning, i mean i didn't feel good, afternoon i was in the hospital. i was that sick that fast, "said mike mike doesn't remember much mote from that day in september... but his wife bonnie, recalls every moment, like it was yesterday "he actually dro over to urgent care on hamilton," said bonnie bacon "i can't even remember that" said mike bacon.
