points down to stay undefeated. stacey: andy garman. andy: you can't imagine a more exciting cyhawk showdown. it looked like iowa was going to run iowa state out of their own gym but you can never count out the cyclones. hilton magic came out. first half, all hawks. jarrod uthoff had 13 points in the first half. in the second half, just two points for utah. meanwhile, the cyclones came in, hitting threes in the first half. in the second half, down 20 points, iowa state started a huge second-half rally. beautiful. moves in the lane and lays it in for two. final seconds, iowa state down one point. one more hawk highlight here.

police linked that account with photos in its database, leaving to the suspect, dresean barber. that shooting sparked a lengthy debate about police presence and security on court avenue. court documents reveal what happened between the accused gunman and victim moments after shots rang out. prosecutors claim the gunman, dresean barber, knew the victim, emanuel perez, long before the deadly altercation. perez's brother acknowledged that dre has been on the losing end of fights before. upon seeing perez at carbon, barbour told a detective he had planned to leave the bar and go home to avoid problems. court documents reveal barbour and his brother told conflicting stories about what happened that night. barbour claims he left before

that brother, dorian barbour, told an investigator he heard shots fired before meeting dresean near third and court. barbour's defense attorney calling the $1 million cash only bond excessive and punitive. his motion to the court released just this week asked the judge to lower the bond and remove the cash only condition and request an interview to determine if barbour can be safely released back into the community. steve: in ottumwa tonight, murder charges in connection with the death of a three-year-old child. kasheena tucker is charged with first-degree murder in the 2014 death of wysdom evans. tucker was the child's guardian when she died. police arrested tucker in utah where she is held on a $500,000 bond.

in san bernardino. fbi divers are looking for items the shooters may have ditched, from their computer. also today, another victim checked into the hospital, raising the number of people injured to 22. country is responding to donald entering the united states. a poll shows the majority of all adults in the country oppose that dan. 42% of gop adults support the ban. 36% oppose it. on the democratic side, 75% oppose it. trump will campaign in des moines tomorrow. he is scheduled to hold a rally at 6:30. >> the truth is, we will never completely overhaul the system

steve: marco rubio was campaigning in iowa today. he says he would be the best commander in chief to fight for veterans. the former senator spoke to about 100 people at a concerned veterans for america event in west des moines. he brought his brother mario, a former green beret waiting for medical help, using his brother as an example of why he's fighting for veterans. a cbs news-new york times support has been increasing. it is up 3%, but he's still and ben carson. now. roads are dry. things are looking good. if there wasn't any moisture out there, it would just blow away. kurtis: we've been above freezing day after day after day.

this is kcci news at 10:00. stacey: laser lights can make a dazzling christmas display, but the lasers are drawing concerns from pilots. the faa issued a statement saying the beams could threaten the safety of flights. steve: officials are asking people to be aware of the way they are positioning the lights, which if they are pointed upward, a straight beam could temporarily blind or distract a pilot. instructions for the displays tell users not to use laser lights within 10 miles of an airport. >> when you are coming in to land, particularly, that is probably the biggest potential for a hazard. steve: airport officials say so far there have not been any reports of issues with laser light displays.

airlines new seats, wider seats, extending foot rests, all featured on the premium economy class on international flights. another perk, passengers get priority check-in and boarding. you will get to check bags for free. the seats are expected to roll out late 2016. united airlines is bringing back a small perk for passengers. free snacks will be served to economy class passengers beginning in february. morning flyers will get a small breakfast waffle. later in the day, you can choose between a cracker and pretzel mix. steve: you are making me hungry. iowa takes a small step forward in becoming a healthy state. new numbers rank iowa 22nd for overall health. hawaii took the top spot, louisiana the bottom. iowa did beat every other state when it comes to high school graduation rates. we are first in the nation with

then it is widespread across the state early on sunday morning. sunday afternoon, rain still continuing. could be heavy at times. look at these rainfall amounts. pretty impressive for december. maybe one to two inches as you head east and southeast of the metro. northwestern iowa, very little rain. temperatures tonight down in the 30's, but still above our normal high. tomorrow, 57. not as windy. a little more cloud cover. by the evening, we make these out a drizzle. the weekend, both days in the 50's. rain on sunday. the computer models for the metro, the least is around three quarters of an inch to an almost an inch and a half.
