from there, at 35th street northeast and first avenue. this happened just before 2 p-m saturday. investigaaors say the sedan - the suspect vehicle - was following another vehicle east on 1st avenue, when someone in the sedan fired a shot into the other vehicle. a bullet hit a male passenger in the shoulder. fifist-responderssook him tooa cedar rapids hospital and he is expected to be okay. police arrested a west des moines man after they say he lit a woman on fire duri an argument at their home. 58 year-old john moore faces a charge of willful iijury causing bodily harm. police say they went to the home friday morning, but that a 54 year-old woman was burned on her upper torso around 10 p-m the niiht before. she's now recovering at the burn unit at i-h-c. the size. eventually the fish began cooperating. i felt it hit the log and bam! nice little smallmouth. not only smallies, but some nice rainbows and browns also provided plenty of fun. you have probably noticed the attachments on the kayaks and canoes. they are called styriggers. they were designed and developed by brian mauer of denver to stablize potentially unstable boats. five years after he started developing the styrigger it is finalal availilble to the pububic. all teh while it has been in production. everybody says i like the idea. like the concept. mauer feels the styrigger is also for bow fishermen, duck hunters but mainly for people young and old who just want to feel safer on the water. hw do you like yor styriggers? i really love it. it is a solid platform. you are not second guessing your movements. jacque not only liked his ride..he loved the challenge being provided by the elusive trout in the turkey. nice to float over the fish spot them although not taking the lure . at least they are there. ah yes, the payoff. bobotom line: it h hd been a good trip for wildlife artist krieg jacque there will be a painting coming out of this for sure. yes.
