county has seriously injured a wisconsin man. the fayette county sheriff's office says they found a vehicle on its top in the ditch in the 16-thousand block of lincoln road. that's about one mile north of fayette. the sheriff's department says 18 year old zachary sedo of freedom, wisconsin swerved to miss a deer on the road about 11:30 last night. he lost control of his vehicle and ended up in the ditch. he went to a west union hospital, and from there an air ambulance took him to a hospital. remember when you see news, call newsline nine at 319-365-9999. you can also send pictures and videos to newsroom at kcrg dot com. turning to weather, meteorologist joe winters joins us. joe, another beautiful day. as we continue to move through early november we are once again experiencing very nice weather. lows dip into the 30s tonight with highs close to 60 on tuesday. veterans day will become a very active day weather-wise. showers and storms accompany an area of low pressure tracking across the upper

midwest. severe weather and heavy rains wednesday afternoon and evening will need to be monitored closely. look for a cool and windy end to the work week following this storm. tonight: clear w: 28-34 winds: se 5-10tomorrow: partly cloudy high: 54-60 winds: se 10-20 back to you. waterloo's city council is considering a rare exemption to the city's ban on burning yard waste. con-trol container systems asked the council to make an exception, so it can burn a large brush pile next month. the pile would be 30 feet in diameter. waterloo has banned burning brush, leaves and other yard waste for 13 years. and the council traditionally denies these requests from businesses. after waterloo water works found an elevated amount of nitrate in one of its water wells last week, officials are searching for answers. the maximum level of

nitrate for one water source is 10 milligrams per liter, friday the water was sitting at 10-point-7. waterloo water works immediately shut off the well and advised residents and warned that the old water wasn't safe for babies. "once that well was off, all the other water being produced by the system was being substantially below 10.7, so it very quickly blended with that water. typically we're all drinking blended water anyway from a number of different sources." tonight at 10 waterloo water works tells us where it believes the nitrate was from, and what it plans to do moving forward. unity point is opening a new family medicine facility on the west side of cedar rapids. its services will include x-ray, outpatient physical and occupational therapy, and lab services. the new clinic will open along highway 151 next to menards in the spring of 2017. with this facility, unity

westside will split apart. urgent care westside will still be available at its current location on edgewood road. but the providers at unity point clinic family medicine will work at the new clinic. a ground breaking will take place in the spring. tomorrow, the hyvee store on edgewood road in cedar rapids will host an open house for its new "telehealth clinic." starting on november 16th, the clinic will have a doctor available through video conferencing to help people with medical ailments... like the flu. mercy care center will be the first in the area to offer the onsite telehealth services to the general public. two eastern iowa schools are hoping to win big prizes by encouraging safe driving. two eyes on the road, two hands on the wheel, think about your actions, cut out distractions beckman high school in dyersville and anamosa high school are both part of the state farm insurance contest called "celebrate my drive." they are in running for 100-thousand dollars and a

free concert from the band echosmith. the indie pop band had radio hits like "cool kids" and "bright." anamosa and beckman both submitted videos showing how students drive safely and they are now in the second round of the contest. they are looking for people to vote for them by taking the pledge to be safe drivers. we have a link to the contest site under the news links section of kcrg dot com. you might remember that cascade high school won this same contest last year. they beat out more than 3- thousand other schools to win the small school division. the school got a private concert from the band perry in their high school gym and 100-thousand dollars. the money went towards new lockers, window blinds and classroom furnishings. day economic boom ever this weekend. hawkeye fans could be pumping more than 20 million dollars into the local economy. that's because both the hawkeye wrestling team and hawkeye football teams will host events in kinnick stadium this weekend. the wrestling team is set to host top ranked oklahoma state at 11 in what's being dubbed the grapple on the gridiron. then at seven the 9-and-0 hawkeyes will host minnesota. over 100-thousand people are expected to pass through the gates at kinnick stadium

throughout the day. every hotel room in johnson county is booked, and officials say hotel rooms are going fast in surrounding counties as well. "it makes for a pretty special weekend, there isn't a hotel room you can find in iowa city coralville and we were trying to find some saturday in cedar rooms. " officials will clear the stadium after the wrestling dual is over. the football game is sold out, but there are still tickets available to the wrestling match. christmas is just six weeks away, and already people are starting to think about sending christmas presents. of course, a lot of us like to wait till the last minute, so u-p-s, fed ex and the u-s postal service have released the last day you can send presents and still get them to the destinations on time. for fed ex, the final day to ship by ground to somewhere in the u-s without paying extra fees is december 16th. for normal u-p-s pick-up and delivery service, the last day to ship is december 23rd. for delivery through the postal service, the
