no matter what. this is the first time iowa has played in the big ten championship game, but it is certainly not their first chance to win a conference championship. kirk ferentz has coached two other hawkeye teams to big ten titles. kcrg-tv9's john campbell takes us back. like this year's team, nothing great t as expected from the 2002 hawkeyes, but like this year's team, that iowa hawkeye football team swept through the big ten undefeated. the team featured brad banks at quarterback, freddie
