"29:46-:00 "a house subcommittee just passed 136 million, which was a little below the governor's number, and i know the senate democrats i think are about 83 million above that number. so, we've got some work to do, but i think we can get there. " lawmakers and voters also discussed iowa's transition to a private medicaid system and water quality. u-n officials are praising the united states for lifting some economic sanctions against iran, in exchange for the country's agreement to curb its nuclear program. yesterday, president obama signed an order to lift those sanctions. the nuclear deal is between iran and six world powers. iran's president hassan rouhani called the nuclear agreement a "glorious victory" on twitter. however, israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu denounced the move, saying iran is still a destabilizing force is the middle east and a supporter of terrorism. following saturday's agreement, iran officials are releasing 4 detained americans. they include a veteran, pastor, and a washington post

u-s will exchange seven detained iranians and drop or pardon their charges. six of those detainees have dual u-s citizenship. secretary of state john kerry calls the united iran "historic." "while the two tracks of negotiations were not directly related and they were the pace and progress of the humanitarian talks accelerated in light of the relationships forged and diplomatic channels unlocked over the course of the nuclear talks. " speaking on that prisoner swap is florida senator and republican presidential candidate marco rubio. he discussed the deal at a campaign event yesterday morning in johnston. rubio says the 4 americans shouldn't have been detained in iran in the first place. gary rima has called many excting uni men's basketball games, but today's was not one of them as the panthers set an all time record for futility in their game with loyola. john campbell was there and has the report. crews were at the scene. right now, we're working to get more details on what caused this fire from the clayton county sheriff's office. viewers called into our newsroom this morning about the fire. as a reminder, whenever you see news, give us a call on newsline nine. that number is 319-365-9999. you can also email pictures and video to newsroom at kcrg dot com. cedar rapids police are looking for a man who ran away after crashing his car. officials say it happened this morning around 5. authorities say the man crashed his vehicle, got out, and then ran away from officers. police told us within the last hour they were still looking for him. a woman is expected to recover after a bus hit her saturday in cedar rapids. police say it happened around 1 o'clock in the afternoon at the intersection of 1st avenue east and 17th street. officers on scene told tv-9 the woman went to saint luke's hospital with minor injuries. police in dubuque say an 18-year-old man is likely to survive after being shot this

authorities charged 22- year-old deante jenkins with multiple offenses, including reckless use of a firearm, interference with official acts and operating while intoxicated. dubuque police tell tv-9 jenkins and the 18- year-old man who was shot are roommates in east dubuque. investigators say the victim showed up for treatment at a local hpital sometime before 3 saturday morning. soon after that, police were called to a crash along the 900 block of west 32nd street in dubuque. officials say jenkins was driving that car. as they were impounding the vehicle, police say they discovered a gun they believe was used in the shooting. the search for a stolen s-u-v in muscatine ended with a sheriff's deputy shooting a man on friday night. muscatine police say the deputy spotted a stolen hummer the intersection of university drive and stopping the s-u-v in a hotel parking lot, police say the driver took off and hit several cars,

enforcement vehicle. police say they fired several shots into the vehicle... hitting the driver. officials took that person treatment. the iowa division of criminal investigation is investigating. a federal laboratory in ames will investigate a strain of bird flu affecting turkey farms in indiana. turkeys tested positive for bird flu at nine farms in dubois county. scientist will determine if the bird flu strain is the same h-5-n-2 virus that devastated the poultry industry in iowa. officials are working to determine how many turkeys to euthanize. the first farm to get the virus euthanized 60-thousand turkeys. indiana ranks third nationally in egg production, and fourth in turkey production. the bird flu virus wiped out 48 million turkeys and chickens across the nation last year. 77 of iowa's farms had a total of 31-point-5 million

president obama has signed an executive order lifting economic sanctions against iran. that move comes because of the country's compliance with a nuclear deal. iran will now have access to billions of dollars in formerly-frozen assets, and could see some benefits when it comes to commodities, like oil exports. in austria yesterday, u-s secretary of state john kerry talked about the landmark agreement. "iran has undertaken significant steps that many, and i do mean many, people doubted would ever come to pass. and that should be recognized " israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu didn't waste any time today condemning the move.
