california... what iowa democrats are saying on the timing of the event... increased security... last weeks deadly shooting on court avenue has business owners reevaluating security measures... the step one owner is taking... from who h-d iowa's high definition leader..this is the channel 13 news at nine on fox 17 we now know from authorities -- that the woman involved in the shootings in san bernardino, california -- pledged allegiance to isis-- good evening. i'm lynn melling. thank you for joining us tonight. we've also learned today that she and her husband -- tried to destroy any evidence that could shed light on their communicatios -- or motivation. adam housley reports from san bernardino. bowdich says: "as of today.. based on info and facts.. we are now investigating this as an act of terror." two days after wednesday's deadly shooting... the investigation --

the fbi. bowdich says: "we have uncovered evidence... there was extensive planning, obviously evidence of explosives... multiple armaments." evidence that authorities tell us includes a facebook post.. where tashfeen malik pledged her allegiance to isis and its leader just moments before the massacre. it was removed by facebook.. and reported to law enforcement. bowdich says: "im aware of the fb post.. saw the same thing.. still continuing to look at." investigators say the couple also tried to erase their digital footprint.... by damaging personal devices. bowdich says: "those cell phones crushed.. detain,, we do continue to exploit date we do hope the digital prints will take us toward the motivation" fbi director james comey- also making a statement... as there is apparently friction between the f-b-i and the white house on how to

cruz also briefly talked about creating a flat tax of 10 percent for americans and regulatory reform to repeal the affordable care act... this morning another republican presidential hopeful... rand paul... sat down with our dave price at w-h-o radio. they started their hour long conversation by talking about the mass shooting in san bernadino... paul called for a full investigation into the attack... as well as a review of refugees from countries with terrorist movements. 17:27 we just need to press pause and say for now we shouldn't have any of those people coming into our country until we know who is here. 17:34 democrats disagree... saying refugees go through a rigorous process to get into the country and that we should help vulnerable people fleeing violence in their home countries. the next time you go to an iowa energy game, expect increased security at the gate. the team and wells fargo arena announced the new measures today. all spectators will be screened with "wands" at every home game. fans will be asked to remove all itmes from their pockets ...

and backpacks won't be allowed. these are the same security measures used by every nba arena. fans are being asked to bring only necessary items into the arena to help speed up screening. police have made an arrest in the deadly shooting along court avenue early sunday morning... 24-year-old dresean maurice barber was taken into custody just before four this afternoon.. he is now charged with first degree murder... and attempted murder. edmanuel perez was shot and killed after a fight outside a bar on court avenue. andrew hurley boyd was wounded. the shooting prompted a court avenue business owner to raise concerns about security in the entertainment district... changes... not only is it off the heels of a violent crime.. but also because hundreds of fill the area tomorrow night for the big ten championship game. 224006 - temperatures do make a difference, weather does make a difference and with it being nice weather we should have a crowd out here matt funk manages the court several bars and restaurants. he hired two

stocks on wall street rallied on friday. the s&p 500 gained 42 points. the dow jones jumped 370 points . the nasdaq ended the session up 105 points. some good news on the u-s job front. the federal government says the u-s added 211-thousand jobs in november, exceeding expectations. the unemployment rate remains at five percent, its lowest level since 2008. analysts say the strong jobs report suggests the u-s economy is maintaining its momentum. and it
