protesters flooded streets in eastern saudi arabia today, upset about the execution of a prominent she-ite cleric. cleric.the country announced earlier in the day it had executed 47 prisoners convicted of terrorism charges, including the cleric, who is also accused of rallying protesters against the government.some are worried that today's mass- executions could further damage relations between saudi arabia and iran.saudi arabia says the executions are a necessary part of its role in the war on terrorism. a bar owner in rochester, new york - says his business was the intended* target of a new year's eve - terrorist plot. plot.federal agents - say - emanuel - lutch-man planned to attack a bar - but authorities did not* reveal which one.the owner of merchants grill - says investigators told him - his business was the target.he says - lutch-man - is no stranger.

much weight."witnesses say just before midnight hewett-brown was in an elevator on 131 broom street with nine other passengers, including coronado's mother-in-law (inaudible) sanchez and her 10-year-old nephew.the elevator stalled half-way between the second and third floor and the door opened.sanchez says hewett-brown wished her a happy new year, as he pushed her up and out of the elevator car onto the third floor. hewett-brown was leaning half-way of the elevator, when it suddenly gave way crushing his hip.his body carrying the weight of the car and eight passengers still on board. board. "the incident happened inside this brick apartment building. witnesses say they called 911 right away, but they say it still took nearly 30-minutes for any emergency response teams to show up, despite the fact that seventh precinct station house and fire house are directly across the street."the f-d-n-y and n-y-p-d say the 9-1-1 call was
