75 was a high in cedar rapids. i'll to the west des moines had 76. there's a few problems in nebraska in grand island where they only had 59 for high temperatures. that's the weather system that will be approaching us. right now we are ahead of that. skies are mostly clear and the temperatures are ranging from the upper 50s to lower 60s in the north and midshipman 60s in cedar rapids down towards iowa city. can see some of the clouds we talked about. a lot of these are high thin clouds and you can see the stars through them so they look worse than they are. as you get further to the southwest they are getting thicker and the moisture is starting to increase and eventually that will bring showers and thunderstorms to our forecasts. before that this high pressure has to get out of the way. it's starting to move to the east and you can see by tomorrow morning it's over lake michigan and on the backside of

coming from the south, southeast and that will tap into moisture and eventually it will lead to this precipitation which gets into the forecast tomorrow night continues on a scattered basis into friday. this is one of our models interpretation. this is our us model here. it has half an inch in cedar rapids. another model i like to use is the european. that's more bullish. it has 9307 inch if you average the amount you can see there's potential for lf an inch of rain as the system works its way across the midwest. it should get out of here by the time we get to friday and rest of that the weekend looks good. to mars temperatures we should see sunshine and temperatures should be in the midshipman 70s. dew points will start to increase in they will be in the 60s by tomorrow evening and that's the moisture that will get squeezed out in showers and thunderstorms.
