>> people on this side of the bay areas will have a tough few days. those would live here but work in san francisco will have a tough time. they will shut down both bridges for a few days. in two weeks, if you are headed to to the bridge in two weeks that is not an option during the labor day holiday weekend but three of the days of weekdays, august 28 through september 2. that is going to impact people would have to get to work. >> hopefully since it is labor day weekend people will take time off but i will work until friday. >> going to be tough. the bolts that are broken will not be fixed by the time the bridge opens but a committee

police station, and arrested on wednesday after santa cruz police found thousands of illegal images at his home. police caught him actually downloading more porn on to his smartphone right there in the politician his station and detectives are working now to identify the images. >> san jose police and the c.h.p. are investigating a single car crash that shut down part of the 680 and 101 interchange last night. police say the driver survived the crash. he suffered critical injuries when he tried to run from officers. he jumped over a three way railing and fell on to connection road near south king road. the c.h.p. had to close down that connection while the man was treated by medics and rushed to a hospital. two passengers stayed in the car and were not injured. >> the body of a man found on the alameda on-ramp to northbound 880 has been identified at a silicon valley engineer. the medical examiner says the 51-year-old died of a weakened

raise offered by city hall. it would give the officers 9 percent pay raise over the next two years but union leaders say the offer came with strings attached and they reject it and says officers are leaving san jose because the pay is less than other cities and the city says the union is making it worse by refusing raises. >> palo alto high school is sending out a warning to students: no more streaking on campus. two students ran naked during lunch yesterday on the first day of school and this is a prank usually seen at the end of a school year. the prescribes pal sent a warning letter to students and parents saying streaker could face suspension and have to meet with a police officer. we will have more on why this may not be the end of campus streaking. >> a nation-wide crackdown on drunk driving starts tonight and continues through labor day. law enforcement across the bay area will conduct d.u.i. checkpoints at undiscloses locations between 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. with officers looking
