the story. >> reporter: the family of nicole fitts tells me they are desperate for answers about their sister's killing. right now they need to know the whereabouts of theirs little niece. arianna. >> want answers to what happened to my sister and what happened to my niece. >> reporter: grief and worry now consuming the family. they're desperate to find their two-year-old niece. arianna, now missing. >> still hopeful that we'll find our niece alive. >> aryan fa and her mother were last enseen april 1st. but reported missing on april 5th. tragically abc7 7 news learned nicole was found dead on friday in san francisco's mclaren park. the victim of a homicide. san francisco police won't say how she was killed. the family says nicole had no enemies. they say she was living in san francisco and was working at this best buy store on harrison street. >> i can't imagine any reason why she would have enemies or

late-day breaks as the sun. live doppler 7hd right now has been tracking tracking the rain all weekend and rights now live doppler 7hd showing you it's rather quiet but fair amount of cloud cover still exists over the region. rainfall over the past 48 hours, the winners were inland and south bay cities, concord and livermore, over an inch. mountain view and san jose nearing an inch. nearing an inch in oak lean and san francisco, two-thirds of an inch of rain over sad and sunday. here's the culprit. low pressure spinning into arizona brought is wet weather. rather unsettled over nevada and california, and over the next 24 hours as the system exits not out of the question to have an isolated pocket of drizzle. then we're tracking drier skies and another storm is on the horizon. we'll look that in the full forecast in a minute. >> when you get unusual weather where you live, take a photo or video and share it with us using the hash tag "abc7now."

oakland fire live tweeted out this picture of an emergency landing this afternoon. the nose gore on this private jet collapsed at oakland international airport this afternoon. this plane was damaged but no one was hurt. a shooting thursday night in san jose is now being investigate as a homicide. police say the victim, identified as lewis ortega died last night from at least one gunshot wounds, officers are trying to find the person that shot him at east william and tenth street. happening near a busy taco truck. police ask witnesses to call them. one defaced a sign on highway 101 memorial enemyizing mill be a police officer who has shot and killed in the line of duty 18 years ago this month. his cousin chp captain chris sherry took the photo yesterday. at first he thought someone was decorating the sign near the millbrae avenue exit. then realizes the person was

cleaning off graffiti. >> very proud of the person that took the time to get supplies and go clean the sign. it sends a message back. sends a message that, hey, this memorial honors a hero. >> this is how the sign looks today. chp officers did a safety check on the bystander then called caltrans. sherry said the memorial signs are a way for the community not just law enforcement to honor officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting others. a chp officer who was intentionally run over last week in sacramento grew up in san rafael. officer michael ericson is in intensive care at the university of california at davis medical center. the 17 year chp veteran stopped to help the driver of a pickup truck in the median of interstate 80 last thursday. the chp says the driver intentionally ran the officer over and an off-duty paramedic saw the officer's motorcycle in

the road and stopped to help. a dozen other drivers stopped as well. >> kindness shown that day, the amount of just charity and assistance to that officer the love and support they showed for law enforcement everybody rushed in to help save the hero. >> police arrested the suspect in another stolen pickup truck after a short chase that ended in fairfield. austin scott is in jail on attempted murder charges and will be in court tomorrow. happening now. the search is on for the cause of a fire in the mission district of san francisco. it happened around 11:00 this morning at the children's council build agent 16th and church. the group provides support to families and child care providers. no one was hurt. check out this video. a vehicle on its side in a fountain in castro valley. the driver flipped the vehicle. parentally the driver saw an animal and tried to swerve out of the way. the driver was not seriously injured. right now, the warriors are

1d#" lzt& a90 an unusual first customer this morning at a starbucks in rohnert park. police tweeted the picture of a lost goat that wandered in. employees tried to lure it out with a banana but the goat preferred to chew on boxes instead. a rohnert park sergeant showed up and got the get to into a crate. the owner has since taken its home. >> you know the love of sailing is strong in the bay area. we were at the craneway pavilion in richmond for the strictly sail pacific boat show. sailboats all shapes and size were on display. people could get information on sailing classes and buy supplies and equipment all in one place. it's the only all sailboat show

on the west coast. san francisco bay is said to be one of the top places in the world to sail. that was true today. we had some rain this morning. >> not the best day to sail this morning. that rain was coming down heavy at times. rain is now out of here in most spots. live doppler 7hd you see dry skies for the moment, but a fair amount of cloud cover. other live look from the emeryville camera. some breaks in the cloud cover sunshine, and what has been a rather cloudy weekend across the bay area. the forecast is going to call for that chance of an isolated drizzle the next 24 hours as the storm system departs it could throw us one last lone pocket of drizzle. otherwise tuesday and wednesday, we're tracking dry skies and then thursday, another storm moves in and brings us light showers for thursday morning. current temperatures on the cool side. a gentle west wind right now off the ocean. the ocean water right now 54 degrees. that's having a huge influence on temperatures.
