downhill. westbound 580 tracy to dublin is an hour and eight minutes. everyone else is filling in westbound 4 antioch to concord is 31 minutes and san rafael to san francisco is in the yellow at 19 minutes. more detail on the crash at 6:08. >> topping our news, a precarious situation in sonoma. a wildfire is burning near cloverdale right now force evacuations and fire crews are facing challenges and our reporter is near the fire line. >> i got good news, and they doubled their containment overnight and they are say the fire is 20% contained. up from 10%. they are keeping the number of acres that have burned the same at 1,500. they are calling the sawmill fire with 36 home evacuated. we asked if they knew when the

strip mall. it started a petco. the police chief just spoke to media and is only saying that the shooter has been neutralized. not committing to saying the person is dead. the shooter has injured at least now we hear eight victims in the shooting. again, we heard this began at a petco store but our affiliate is reporting that some of the shooting happened at an apartment complex in the area. at the love the victims in the case were in their vehicles. a lot of people are saying the bullets came toward their car flying everywhere in the area. this is a strip mall there. this is an urgent care. you are seeing the images but i want to show you the video from this morning that the huge emergency response. the shooter has been describe as a black male reportedly holding a revolver. we heard that a lot people were

hurt in their cars. there is no word on the extent of the injuries to the victims, how bad the injuries could be. it is an active situation the we her moments ago that bomb squad was called to the john and there was a suspicious vehicle so, still, very active and we are still getting new information at the live desk and i will keep monitoring all of the information as the situation changes. that is the latest here. >> the political world will be focused on new york tonight for the first of three presidential debates. both donald trump and hillary clinton have a lot at stake and so does the moderator. mod rares have been under fire for not fact checking statements. it is not really his or her job. >> i don't think it is a good idea to give the moderator into essentially servinging a the

>> a man is alive this morning after the coast guard gave up searching for him and his mother in the atlantic ocean. can you see on a map where a cargo ship found 22-year-old nathan carmen 100 miles south of martha's vineyard on a life raft after eight days at sea after he and his mother failed to return from a fishing trip. the coast guard suspended the

search on friday and his mother is still missing. >> the mayor of sacramento said he is more guarded now after a protester hit film in the face with a pie. mayor kevin johnson spoke about the run in and said it is okay to disagree with him but do not revert to violence. shawn thompson hit the mayor with a pie to call attention to the mayor spending teach on downtown development. sacramento magazine shared the photos of the pie attack and the mayor fought back and tackled the protester to the ground and hitting him at least once. >> happening today for the first time in san francisco's history, three female supervisor candidates will announce a egypt plan to to to -- announce a joint plan to tackle problems facing the city. the three will be the first mothers to serve as city supervisors in more than five years. they will announce what they call their "mom's plan," to help solve problems including

>> wells fargo facing the first of what could be many lawsuits following alleged fire and the fire of thousands of mom is. two former wells fargo employees filed lawsuits again the bank. wells fargo is being scrutinized for alleged barking fraud after employees opened accounts that were not authorized by customers. the plaintiffs in the lawsuit say that they were wrongfully fired and made an example of so the other employees will learn they have to engage in fraudulent actions to meet the unrealistic seals i don't thats. >> if you rent in the bay area

>> breaking news, good morning on this monday, september 26. i am natasha zouves. >> i am reggie aqui. >> breaking news from houstonian active shooter situation. jessica is tracking it. that is right. the very latest is police say they have neutralized the shooter. several people have been injured and a.t.f. is investigating on the scene trying to find out in the shooter had any explosives. a shelter-in-place has been issued for the apartment complex in the area this is video from this morning.

police. not say whether the suspect is dead but they have said the person is "neutralized," and not taken to the hospitals. he is in longer a threat. the bomb squad is there. i have better news as far as victims are concerned been seeing a lot of images of broken windows in cars at the strip mall parking lot. the shooter report through started at petco store and made his way to the apartment complex that is being asked to shelter-in-place and it started at 6:30 in houston when people were leaving for work or just getting up. police have not given out an identity of the shooter, of course, and i will keep you updated as we get new details through the newscast.
