former president george h.w. bush is being treated at a houston hospital. we don't know why he was rushed to the hospital. he was last seen in public a few days ago at the texans' game. more info on this as we get it. and former army intelligence officer chelsea manning will be released from prison in may now that president obama has commuted her 35-year sentence for giving u.s. secrets to wikileaks. manning has been convicted in a military court and was held in a men's prison where she attempted suicide twice last year. manning asked the president for clemency last november. >> we had no indication of -- of if or when we would be hearing from the white house regarding chelsea manning's application. we learned this afternoon along with everyone else and it was a very -- it was a very thrilling and hopeful moment for us. >> but war veteran senator john mccain disagrees. he claims commuting manning's
