two police officers among those taken to local hospital after struck at pick-up truck at busy d.c. intersection. officers on bicycles when truck swerved around a bus, striking them at 9:00 okay time. traffic aid and two pedestrians also hit. one officer in critical condition, others with nonlife threatening injuries. weapon was recovered from suspect vehicle. >> at this point can you rule out terrorism? >> we have to look at it closely. don't have a motive at this time. >> driver and person in another vehicle have been arrested. i'm dan ashley. >> and i'm ama daetz, other top story, 14-year-old boy shot and killed by friend with pellet gun. marcos garcia, cornell is live in antioch. >> reporter: the terrible accident happened in a house on this street. teens playing with a pellet gun

when it all went wrong. graduation ceremonies at deer valley high school for the class of 2017 where friends say marcos garcia attended as freshman. >> accident like that, never know. didn't think a bb gun would actually kill him. >> reporter: in shock after hearing about his friend. police say he was shot in chest by a friend when playing in this house. >> tragic. >> reporter: neighbor tried to help. >> ran inside and saw marcos laying on the ground and unconscious. i didn't know how long he wasn't breathing. >> reporter: died later at hospital. >> i heard the kids were playing with pellet gun. very tragic. saddened by this. >> reporter: neighborhood stunned by incident. chaz meyer doesn't know who owned the pellet gun.

for now focused on remembering his friend. >> good soccer player, funny. everything. >> reporter: no arrest was made, authorities calling it tragic accident. abc7 news. staying on top of new developments in string of suspicious fires in the south bay. cell phone video. this dumpster fire and several others set overnight. katie marzullo is live in san jose with new video. >> reporter: neighbor that lives near one of the fires showed us the video. shows the moment that flames erupted and also the person who may have started the fire. caught on camera before 4:00 a.m. someone on a bicycle rides up to dumpster, pauses for a minute and pedals away, moments later flames light up the area.
