>> it's good to have you with us on this saturday, june 10th wer. san francisco police are investigating after a patrol vehicle rolled over and landed on top of its roof. two officers were involved in the crash before 8:00 last night. abc 7 news spoke with a witness driving behind the squad car right before the crash. >> the police car was driving fast in the number one lane and the football two lane. one lanes in front of the police car. the siren wasn't activated. >> police say the officer driving tried to pass that car when the squad vehicle passed the boulder in the central median and flipped over. both officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
>> the officers done appear to be on a call at this time. so we're trying to understand where they're going and what they were doing. >> police are looking for more witnesses as well as under surveillance video in the area to help with the investigation. 5:02 is our time. in the south bay, police are looking for a drone pilot that caused a power out annual. katie marzulo has the details. >> there were sparks in the theater. we just we heard a loud sound. >> reporter: she was work as an usher at the mountain view performing arts center when the lights went out. the show could not go on. the public library was also evacuated, but without power, staff couldn't use the announcement system. >> the staff went in the corners and crannies of the library to find people who had some flashlights and we also used our phones, they have a good strong
flashlight on the phones to make sure everybody was out. >> reporter: this is the evidence miss are working with. >> we were able recover a very, very burned drone and right now we're trying to figure out who owns the drone, where it was flying, why it was in that area. >> witnesses told police they saw a man with a light hair driving a hashback flying a drone shortly before the addage. the faa does not allow drones to fly near people and they must be clear of obstacles. >> reporter: pg & e says 16 examiners lost power. anyone with information about the drone pilot is asked to call mountain view police. >> happening today, two groups of protesters will express their very different views in santa collar. >> reporter: a group called act
for america will hold an anti-sharia law rally. sharia is the law for islam. act for america claims sharia is incompatible with person values. local interfaith groups will hold a counter protest nearby. >> we want the voice of inclusion, of diversity, of celebrating this very strong and vibrant community. >> the pd and departments will have extra patrols. we don't anticipate any problems. >> act for america did not return our request for comment. the southern poverty law center considers act for america took hate group. anyone riding bart through oakland should plan ahead this weekend. bart crews are rebuilding the track way between the lake mary and fruitvale stations this weekend. no trains will run 13 e between those stations. a bus bridge will connect passengers around the closure. this will be the last weekend

bay. 46 for you in santa rosa. 54 in virginia. it was 56 in contoured. so we did manage some sunshine yesterday, although, it got quite gusty in the afternoon. a live look outside, you see the hole in the overcast. below average for the weekend, a breezy wind. a chance of a few showers on sunday. this is the north and east bay out towards the delta as well. then much warmer for the weeks ahead. so few look at your hour by hour forecast today, notice that all the cloud are around, especially in the morning. friday afternoon, 2:00, we will thin out and see more sunshine than cloud. it will be cool, that picks up on sunday morning, you notice with a little cloud cover, it looks like a decent day. notice that will you see some of this green, you could see a few isolated showers, it will remain isolated t. week ahead, for you in san jose, it's a cool one today at 71. highs in the upper 70s.

side. >> if you are heading to south lake tahoe, expect a delay. cal-trans is hoping to have a mudslide cleaned up and opened by this afternoon. they say 50 tons of debris from the hillside slid on the road thursday. now crews are working on reverse traffic control. cal-trans says winter storms caused the mudslide. chevron responded quickly to soot in the water near its richmond refinery. sky 7 shows the soot-like water between a non-chevron ship and a wharf. chevron deployed its emergency response team an quickly contained the material. the investigation shows invest common is not the source of the material. now to a rare sighting in monterey bay. randy, is whale watching. he captured this video of an albino dolphin calf. it was spotted wednesday morning

they say the stabbing appears to be completely random. apc news reporter lonnie rivera has more. >> reporter: in mem rose, schools ended friday classes early. when students came to the library a. normal routine turned frightening after a 13-year-old became a victim of a stabbing attack. >> it's just a calling. you are fighting for yourself. >> reporter: detectives say the male teen was hanging outside the library with his friends when a 40-year-old transient man walked up to him. >> without any reason he stabbed him with a pocket knife. >> reporter: they say he stabbed the boy multiple time in both arms. >> the teenager was shocked, he was panicking. he didn't know why he had been attacked. >> reporter: police officers next door rushed to the scene. officers administered first-aid on a young victim before he was taken to the hospital. police took the man into
custody, drive e detectives say strangely the suspect hung around. >> after the attack, he didn't flee, he stayed in the area, so on top of that, it's another unusual circumstance. >> reporter: the teenager is a taylor middle school student. as for his attacker, he's in san mateo county jail. detectives say they're trying to figure out who he is and why he randomly attacked a kid. >> the woman sexually assaulted by droektor roman -- director roman polanski yesterday asked the judge to remove the case. she said wants an outright dismissal or have him sentenced without him being present. he repeated requests for the same ruling have been denied t. judge did not issue an immediate ruling. >> i am standing there saying, he serves his sentence. i never asked anybody and he was
