((michael stevens)) > good morning... thank you for joining us... i'm michael stevens in for patranya. f-b-i investigators have now spent three days searching a lake for evidence connected to the san bernardino shootings. armed with metal detectors and protective gear... divers are working in 10 to 12 hour shifts... doing a grid search of the seccombe lake. its believed the two shooters.. may have thrown away a computer hard drive there the couple is accused of killing 14 people inside inland regional center more than a week ago. divers have found items during the search... but no word yet if the items are related to the case./// ((michael stevens)) > former county commissioner tom collins has found himself in trouble with the law once again. sources tell 8-news-now he was arrested friday...

according to the booking records at the clark county detention center... a 65- year-old named clarence weldon collins was arrested for d-u-i around 8 p-m friday. our i-team says clarence weldon is collins' legal name. we left a voicemail with the former commissioner but he has not responded. collins abruptly resigned his post back in august citing family matters. and shortly after resigning... collins announced he planned to run for mayor of north las vegas in 2017./// gears now... make sure you grab a jacket before you head out the door today... as the windy weather and colder temperatures will be sticking around the las vegas valley. ashley conroy is here with a (( )) (( ashley conroy: our high today 57 degrees. it's going to be sunny early, but won't stay that way, clouds will be moving into our valley, and those winds are really going to pick up. we could also have some showers move into our area by tomorrow night. ................................ today that sunrise at 6:43am, we'll have our sunset tonight by

((sandy heverly/stop dui: "the designated driver is the soor person not the one whose had the least amount to drink." )) on average--heverly says a driver gets behind the wheel 87 times while under the influence before they're ever caught for the first time. she says it only takes one drink to lead to potential tragedy. this is ((michael stevens)) > another stacked ufc card is in the books... and two new champions were crowned. conor mcgregor took on undisputed featherweight champ jose aldo in the main event of ufc 194 at the mgm grand. it only took 13 seconds for the irishman to walk away the winner... he knocked out aldo with the first punch he threw. in the co-main event... it was middleweight champion chris weidman looking to stay

but it wasn't his night... and rockhold got the finish to become the new champion.
