((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > thanks for joining us, i'm patranya bhoolsuwan. this morning, n-h-p is investigating a three car crash that sent two people to the hospital. n-h-p says a lexus was driving westbound on the eastbound 215 lanes... before crashing into a jeep wrangler and toyota s-u- v. the driver of the lexus was transported to sunrise with minor injuries... while the driver of the jeep is currently in serious condition at u- m-c. three female passengers in the
n-h-p says alcohol was a factor. /// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > it's been a busy weekend for county and state police...as folks hit the road for m-l-k weekend up on mount charleston. yesterday, n-h-p handed out 70 warnings and citations for illegal parking. 25 cars got stuck in the snow. and one person was arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance. officials are cracking down on speeding, illegal parking, and d-u-i's. they're also on the lookout for stranded vehicles: ((sot: jason buratczuk - nhp: we're all working together on the mountain to make sure that traffic flows smoothly, that we can get to people if they are injured.)) ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > a woman in australia amazingly is doing okay...after barely escaping when a car crashed into a gas station there. this surveillance video shows the woman walking inside the store... when all of a sudden the car comes crashing in. the store clerk thought the woman was hit... and immediately went to check on her. other workers helped two people out of that car... and were taken to the hospital. the collision also triggered a gas leak. police are investigating what caused the accident... and if alcohol was a factor. /// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > nevada

there is a low pressure system off in the pacific we're tracking which will bring more showers to the pacific northwest -- but won't make it's way down to our area for any showers.
