down the suspect.. in a late-night shooting. it happened at an apartment complex on las vegas boulevard... in between richmar and serene. police say 2 men got into a fight.. before one of them shot the other in the upper torso. at some point during their argument... one of the men said something about quote "blowing up the place" and "pulling the pin." officers arrived.. and found a suspicious metal object. they evacuated several apartments as a precaution.. but it turned out to be nothing. the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries./// ((brian loftus)) > this morning.. a utah police officer is dead.. after being shot during a police chase. it happened sunday morning.... in greater salt lake.. when officers responded to a traffic accident.. and learned 2 suspects.. a man and a woman... fled the season.

barney caught up with the male suspect.. cory henderson.. that's when police say henderson shot barney. more officers responded and they got into a shoot out. henderson died in the gunfire.
