((kirsten joyce)) today, republican presidetial candidate donald trump... will hold a campaign rally here in las vegas. it' at the south point hotel and casino on the boulevard and silverado ranch. doors open at 11 a-m... and the event starts at 1:00 p-m. trump will also make a guest appearance... at the outdoor sportsman awards at the venetian... tonight at 7-pm. /// ((brian loftus)) > and former president bill clinton is here in town for his wife hillary. he's hosting an organizing event at "advanced technologies academy"... right on vegas drive near rancho. doors open tonight 6:30 p- m... and starts at 7:15. /// ((sherry swensk)) > millions of people from the mid-atlantic to the northeast... are gearing up for a potentially crippling winter storm. blizzard watches are in effect for parts of the baltimore and d-c area. don champion has the latest.

with the system forecast to move further north over the weekend... snow isn't the only concern. yesterday - crews began building berms along the jersey shore in the event of coastal flooding. teag fox is currently behind bars on one million dollars bail. he faces multiple charges including attempted murder with a deadly weapon. officer gregory sedminik was injured in the shooting... and is expected to make a full recovery. /// ((brian loftus)) > the man accused of masterminding a child sex ring... had his bail raised to 11- million dollars. bail for christopher sena had been one-point-3 million. yesterday, sena plead not guilty to 124 charges... stemming from sexual abuse and assault of children. they include sexual assault, incest, and producing videos of the assaults. his wife deborah and ex-wife terrie are also charged in this case. terri has taken a plea deal... and is serving life in prison. deborah is slated to go to trial next month. christopher's trial is set for november. /// ((kirsten joyce)) > you can get your money back from amazon... if you're not satisfied with your hoverboard. ((sherry swensk)) > with the freezing cold temperatures minnesota is seeing these days... minnesota is seeing these days... it's the perfect weather to start building their famous ice castles. the yearly ritual in eden prairie was put off a bit because of the warmer december. 60 towers of solid ice were built... spreading over an acre with walls about 10- feet thick. inside you'll find tunnels, caves, waterfalls, fountains... and slides.

after a little girl asked that she only wanted christmas cards for christmas. back in 2013... safyre terry's father, two brothers, and her sister... were killed in a house fire. she came out of it alive with severe burns. people from all over the world have sent her cards. the 8-year-old visits the warehouse every day with her aunt... who she now calls mom: (( liz dolden, safyre's aunt: "to see the hope that she's, not only that she's given me and now that she's given the world, that's just all we want is people to believe that no matter what that you can get through anything, that's our whole motto." )) ((brian loftus)) safyre and her aunt recently traveled to boston... for the one of the many procedures she will have until she stops growing. toys for tots... who's handling the intake of cards... help out. /// ((kirsten joyce)) > jennifer

thousands of cell phones during super bowl 50 week, with the help of a startup called airsage. sot: ben roschke / business development, team san jose "their technology tracks cell phone usage. cell phones tend to ping about 150 a day from the phone, their gps location, to a nearby tower, and utilizing that data we're going to be able to collate a good percentage of the people coming into the bay area for super bowl." ben roschke with team san jose, the city's convention and visitor's bureau, says the data will give them a clear idea of where fans stayed or visited for the week in the bay area. sot: ben roschke "we're really hoping to gain, when we get this huge lift of travelers that, one of the largest travel events in the history of our city, we really want to see what destinations they're liking, and what areas we can help focus on for future marketing efforts." team san jose has already been tracking phones for the past year. and t- mobile careers and the technology can pinpoint locations within about 100 the data does not reveal the user's identity. sot: jamealle spain / san jose "i think it's a really good idea, being from san jose and not knowing how the super bowl's going to impact the livelihood and the population that's going to be out here that weekend i think it definitely makes
