((sherry swensk)) yes, a nice ridge of high pressure is building over the desert southwest and that is really helping to nudge temps above normal for a few days. .................. it's a well- deserved warm-up for us, as we've had some pretty chilly days this winter. overnight patchy high clouds have thinned out and we've got plenty of sunshine at the noon hour. .................... temps right now moving into the 50s... and on the way to 60s by mid afternoon. they will keep increasing a few degrees into friday and even saturday approaching some of warmest temps we've had since november. but it won't last long... as a chilly winter storm heads our way to start off february. we'll take a look at the abrupt changes coming our way in your full forecast./// ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > time

enforcement stopped them at a road block about 20 miles from the compound. bundy's brother ryan was injured and the group's spokesman robert 'lavoy" finicum was killed. finicum had recently told reporters, he'd 'rather die than be caged.' ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) > the famous roaring of the niagara falls could temporarily become a trickle. new york state may shut down most of the falls on the u-s side... to replace two historic bridges. the bridges are more than a century old and have been closed to the public since 2004. the water will be diverted to the canadian side... so their falls would become even more intense.
