marco rubio came in second while ted cruz in third... followed by ben carson and john kasich. now nevada has been considered the wild west of politics. ((kirsten joyce)) and it wasn't just our state in the spotlight.... south carolina was held a democratic town hall with hillary clinton and bernie sanders. reid binion has the latest from the campaign trail. (trump) "now we're winning winning winning the country." donald trump rode to victory in the nevada caucuses tuesday.... (sot trump) "we won with young, we won with old, we one with highly educated, we won with poorly educated. i love the poorly educated." but with trump highly favored even before the results started coming in... ...the real fight was between ted cruz and marco rubio for second place. cruz, spinning his showing in nevada as progress... (ted cruz) "we are one step closer to turning the the pages on the failures on the obama-clinton disaster." rubio, touting his establishment- candidate identity as critical for a general election win. spotlight on safety at daycare facilities. patranya bhoolsuwan explains what parents need to know. < ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) shantelle lorraine has 4 boys under 10...and finding them the right daycare has not always been easy especially, given recent local cases of child abuse. ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) the latest incident involving baby jonathan who now suffers brain damage after daycare worker alejandra robles admits to dropping him ... because he was crying. robles worked at an unlicensed daycare facility. ((latisha brown/childcare licensing manager: "if a parent chooses to utilize someone who is unlicensed they should probably ensure they have some type of training.")) ((patranya bhoolsuwan)) state childcare licensing manger latisha brown recommends parents use daycares that are regulated....and even then ask lots of questions from whether the employees underwent background checks to the kind of training they received to prevent cases of abuse. ((sherry swensk)) > nearly 20 million people are in the path of more severe storms today. at least three people are dead and several are missing... after tornadoes ripped through the gulf states. some neighborhoods, are barely recognizable. the storms also spawned these three waterspouts in louisiana. governors in both louisiana and mississippi have declared states of emergency. /// ((demetria obilor)) > it's sometimes hard to keep yourself in shape when you're busy... let alone have time to relax. but a northern california woman is going viral.. for coming up with a new workout. evan schreiber reports. the busy life was on display. but what resulted... has now been seen by roughly 25-million people worldwide. the 15-second video posted in january (nats) now dubbed "the wine workout." (april storey/created "wine workout") "i was getting ready to do a workout, and i saw the wine there and i'm like, 'you know, that would be kind of funny to incorporate wine into this workout video.'" storey tells me this is her life. simple... every-day home exercises. not necessarily always the wine that was just one of the dozens of non-alcohol included workout videos she's posted. battled a fire ten stories up... at an australia construction site. but what they saw come down... had them scared. cameras caught this massive crane collapse to the ground. thankfully no one was hurt... the incident was a result of an electrical fire... that started in the crane's motor. /// ((brian loftus)) > if you love labs, you'll love this! the american kennel club has declared the labrador retriever as america's most popular dog breed. this is the 25th year in a row
