school precincts before the 2018 through 2019 school year. we'll have a full report on how the meeting turns out in our later newscast./// ((brian loftus)) > federal and local authorities in hesston, kansas are investigating a workplace shooting that has left 3 people dead and 14 others injured. police killed the suspect during the attack, and now details are coming out about his possible motivation. manuel bojorquez has the story from hesston, kansas. >police in kansas say shooting suspect cedric ford was served with a protection from abuse order in the factory where he worked 90 minutes before he opened fire. sheriff t. walton/harvey county he didn't display anything that was outrageous. he just displayed, he was a little upset that he was getting this order. ford, who had a criminal record, left work after getting the order, and first opened fire from his car, hitting someone in a vehicle. he then shot another driver and stole their car before heading

ford shot one person in the parking lot and another 14 inside the building before an officer gunned him down. the unidentified officer is sheriff t. walton/harvey county he had to stop that threat. you've got 200- 300 people in there. luckily 200-300 people came out. relatives rushed to the factory shooting. one couple was reunited as cameras were rolling. (oh my god) police say ford was armed with an assault rifle and an automatic handgun. investigators are trying to figure out how a suspect with a criminal record was able to get those weapons. manuel bojorquez, cbs news, hesston, kansas./// ((brian loftus)) > ford had convictions for multiple burglaries , fleeing from police and disorderly conduct. authorities say the person named in the order did not work at the factory, but released no other details about the order.///

presidential candidates are desperately trying to slow donald trump's momentum before it's too late. senators marco rubio and ted cruz launched verbal attacks against gop presidential frontrunner donald trump during a debate on cnn last night. trump's opponents are scrambling for support ahead of super tuesday. cruz sold himself as the best candidate to beat hillary clintonbut trump fired back. there will be more than 20- balloons taking off ... it's free to attend.. tethered balloon rides are just 10- bucks each./// ((sherry swensk)) the week started off very windy... and cooler by tuesday. that cool windy system knocked back our extra warm temps back to normal and below. but they sure didn't stay there for long. ............... our temps are already up to 70 and even warmer outside the valley. the air is very dry and humidity is below 20 percent at the noon hour. ........

we should have some breezes and a slight dip to start off the new month. ................ we are just about at the end of the winter watering schedule... and your lawn and flowerbeds are probably glad about that. starting tuesday we will get back the three assigned days to water with the spring schedule which will last through april. .......... the west will stay high and dry for now... a lot of high level moisture is pushing into the west coast... with some showers that are heading to the northern california coast and up into oregon and washington. ............ we'll just get some high clouds here in the desert... and some of those will appear later this afternoon with more of them appearing by tonight and saturday. ............. most of the west is clear today... and the midwest and ohio valley is getting some residual and light snow showers. ....................

(( tatum boos: she "gotted" a time out because she was being a bad pony," )) this is juliette she's actually a pony.. with a fake horn on its head. she belongs to five-year-old tatum boos and spends her time taking professional photos.... well yesterday juliette got loose... and people were calling 9- 1-1 saying they saw a unicorn running around. officials chased her around for more than three hours... but were eventually able to wrangle her up...
