((kirsten joyce)) >> and i'm kirsten joyce new this morning a man is dead is after an overnight hit and run. the incident happend last night around 8:45 near torrey pines and charleston. metro tells us that a man driving a ford truck struck a man while riding his bicycle into a wall. he was sent to umc where he later died. metro officers went on to say

sgt. robert stauffer / fatal detail: (( "it's something that you have to be careful of, especially the drinking and driving aspect of this. it's what's going to cause the individual to not maintain the travel lane and to end up in a situation like this." )) ((kirsten joyce)) the driver ran away after the crash but he was later caught he was arrested for being under the influence and hit and run. this is the 75th death in metro's jurisdiction./// ((kirsten joyce)) three people are dead this morning after a small tahoe international airport it happend last night just after 6 p-m . no one was injured on the ground, but officials confirm the three people on board that aircraft did die in the crash. the plane was experiencing technical difficulties and crashed into the airports parking lot, killing the three individuals on board. this crash comes only 12 days after a fatal plane crash that happened in sparks./// ((michael stevens)) class is canceled yet again at walter johnson jr. high. the district made the announcement last night... after the e-p-a possibly found

brittany edney spoke with the e-p-a about the discovery. ((brittany edney)) continued cleanup means no class for students at johnson junior high school on monday. there's still some areas of campus--- specifically the gym-- where crews are making sure all traces of potentially harmful mercury levels are removed. ((michael stevens)) welcome back to the valley's news leader. a new issue is likely to take of the 20-16 presidential campaign. hillary clinton has been diagnosed with a serious illness and has been advised to take it easy for a few days. hena daniels has the latest from new york. "i'm feeling great." hillary clinton says she is feeling fine but has cancelled a 2-day fundraising trip to california. her doctor says the 68-year-old was diagnosed with pneumonia on friday, although the illness was

leaving the 9/11 ceremony at ground zero. clinton went to her daughter's manhattan apartment for a few hours after the incident and then headed to her suburban home not far from new york city. her doctor issued a statement saying: while at this morning's event she became overheated and dehydrated. i have just examined her and she is now rehydrated and recovering nicely. donald trump has not commented about clinton's illness, but in the repeatedly questioned whether his opponent has the strength to be president and the stamina to take on terrorists. he returns to the campaign trail after taking a day off to pay tribute to victims of the september 11th terror attacks. the latest cbs news battleground tracker poll shows the race is tightening in florida. clinton holds just a two point lead there. in ohio, another key battleground state, clinton has a 7 point lead.

and it definitely helped over the weekend people dressed up as super heroes for the candlelighters 5k marathon at mountains edge exploration park .. to support candlelighters childhood cancer foundation of nevada. something that really hits home for metro police captain james larochelle.. his 9 year old daughter, rosa was diagnosed with cancer... and he says the charity is a great support in these tough times: (( james larochelle, metro captain .. daughter has cancer: when a loved one is diagnosed with cancer, particularly a child, it's really devastating, overwhelming, very emotional. it's so good to hear from other folks who've been through this before and to hear the success stories )) ((kirsten joyce)) >> little rosa felt good
