((kirsten joyce)) n-dot says you'll want to avoid driving near the spaghetti bowl this weekend . the ramp from the 95 south onto the i-15 south will close at 10 o'clock tonight and won't reopen untsu shift two lanes on the spaghetti bowl ramp in preparation for the demolition of a bridge that crosses symphony park drive. when the ramp reopens... driver will see a slight reconfiguration of the lanes entering i-15 south. n-dot says they understand just how big of a traffic headache this will cause: ((tony illia // n-dot: we're certainly taking it very seriously. anytime you mess with i-15 or the spaghetti bowl, it's a big deal.)) ((kirsten joyce)) >> the oversight committee recommended the plan to governor sandoval yesterday. backers want state lawmakers to meet and approve the deal as soon as possible so they can pitch it to nfl team owners, three- quarters must approve any team relocation./// ((patrick walker)) the 65 thousand seat stadium would cost nearly 2 billion dollars. 750 million of that would come from public funds .. from raising the hotel room tax. it would be the biggest public contribution ever to an n-f-l stadium. the adopted economic analysis calculates the stadium will have a 620-million dollar annual impact... and would create 6-thousand jobs

hospitalized ... after having the same procedure at a dental clinic in anaheim, california. the kids all had baby root canals ... which is a common procedure. afterwards, several developed symptoms of a serious and potentially life- threatening infection. california health officials are now contacting 500 other children who had the procedure as far back as may .. because the infection can be slow to develop. the clinic has agd now./// ((patrick walker)) donald trump continues to campaign ... just one day after releasing his economic plan. during his speech in new york yesterday, the republican nominee promised 25 million new jobs .. saying the economy will average 3 and a half percent growth. trump is also pledging not to raise taxes. meanwhile, trump's campaign is trying to shut down speculation that he still believes president obama was not born in the u-s.

a funeral will be held later today for the 9- year- old boy killed in a dog attack last month. derion stevenson went to his friends house in an east side neighborhood .. attacked the child. the dog has since been euthanized.. services for little derion will be held at the greater mount sinai baptist church./// ((kirsten joyce)) a reunion .. that almost wasn't .. ((sherry swensk)) remember this dramatic video from the historic flooding in louisiana last month? woman from her car moments before it went under ... then at the last second.. saved her dog too. omar villafrana was there as the two reunited this week. in the middle of august's historic louisiana flood... 27-year-old david phung jumped in the raging waters in baton rouge to rescue a woman in this red car sinking to her certain death. (sot, david from aptn)
and that's where you see that the car started to sink and//she was actually about to be in real trouble. (nat pop from video) in the chaos...phung managed to pull 53-year-old haley brouilette out to safety - one of many rescues he made that week, as part of the cajun river rescue squad. "get my dog, get my dog now" but he wasn't finished with his rescue operation. (layer audio underneath picture) (sot david/aptn) so i took took on (nat pop) ohhhh (david emerges with the dog) brouislette had just gotten out of the hospital after kidney surgery. she was on her way to pick up medication when she drove into the floodwaters with her trusted dog sassy. (sot, brouilette) i was so scared, i was more scared for her than anything - more scared for her - (sot hailey/emtional) it's so hard to start over because you dont know where to start. a month after her brush with death, brouilette is still homeless. her street, washed away with the floodwaters.
