the bustling u-n-l-v campus will get the addition of some controlled chaos... as the final presidential debate decends on the thomas and mack center. security and setup will push classes out of the closest buildings to the thomas and mack in the two days leading up to the debate. parking restrictions could start as soon as 5 days before the event... and shuttles will run to off-campus parking facilities. also... network television producers have been scouting the campus for places to set up temporary television sets... which will be active inh u-n-l-v senior vice provost carl reiber says those distractions are a necessary part of bringing a world-class event to the university... and the staff has been asked to take that into consideration with regards to classes happening during that time.: ((carl reiber/unlv sr. vice provost: "the faculty have alternate assignments, online assignments, library assignments, reading assignments, writing assignments, so that the students are engaged in their educational activities.")) ((paul joncich)) a massive manhunt is over. the suspect wanted in connection with bombings in new york city and new jersey has been taken into custody... after a gun battle in new jersey. kenneth craig has more on the search for a motive in the attack. bombing suspect ahmad khan rahami was wheeled into an police in linden, new jersey. rahami had been on the run since saturday's bombing in new york city and the jersey shore. (sot bill sweeney, fbi) we have directly linked rahmi to devices from new york and from saturday in new jersey. police say rahami, a naturalized citizen from afghanistan was caught on surviellance video near the explosion in chelsea that left 29 people injured. he shot one officer and took off running. (sot capt. james sarnicki) we did return fire to the suspect, striking him several times and taking him down. (nats) early monday, the fbi raided the suspect's apartment in elizabeth, new jersey and collected evidence. investigators also recovered a backpack filled with bombs at a nearby train station including one that a robot detonated. fans can't wait for nhl hockey to drop the puck in vegas. ((paul joncich)) >> if you didn't sign up for season tickets, you're too late. chris maathuis joins us with more on that. ((chris maathuis)) that's right, when bill foley first approached the nhl... the league wanted to see if he could actually gena actually generate some interest in a team. he did generate a bunch of interest by people putting down deposits on seats in the first days of the sale.... putting down deposits on a team that didn't even exist. before ya knew it, he had 12 thousand deposits, that number grew to 13, then 14 and 15 thousand. people putting money down and waiting to see if foley would be awarded a franchise...

and today the team released a number that's maybe not all that shocking... but season tickets are sold out. by league rules, foley had to cap the season ticket number at 16 thousand.... they've reached that number... so if you were too late, the thing to do now if put your name on a waiting list. but season tickets are capped at 16 thousand.
