((nia wong)) breaking news this morning .. we've learned one person died in a crash in the southwest valley. it happened just a little after 2 am near the intersection of decatur and wagon trail. we have a crew on the way to the scene right now and we are working to learn more information.

the country of israel is in mourning after former israeli president shimon peres passed away. the nobel peace prize laureate passed away at a tel aviv hospital - at the age of 93. two weeks after suffering a 'major stroke.' peres' was twice elected prime minister and held nearly every senior political office in israel. president obama said, "a light has gone out, but the hope he gave us will burn forever." shimon peres will friday. president obama, president clinton, and other world leaders will attend the funeral./// ((michael stevens)) the f-b-i is releasing new pictures of two men they want to talk to about the new york city-area bombings. agents say security video shows the men removing a pressure cooker bomb from a bag, and walking away with the luggage. meanwhile, today's planned arraignment of the man accused in the bombing is now postponed because ahmad rahami remains unconscious in a new jersey

((michael stevens)) the prosecution is wrapping up its case... in the trial of ammon bundy and six others who occupied an oregon wildlife refuge last winter. jurors watched a video of men using assault rifles to fire at a refuge boat launch. fbi agents displayed evidence bags that contained more than 1,000 spent shell casings recovered from that area. the assistant u.s attorney says the video shows the armed occua protest. bundy and his followers occupied the refuge for weeks back in january, demanding the government free two imprisoned ranchers and relinquish control of western lands./// ((kirsten joyce)) police made more arrests concerning the dakota access pipeline. nearly 300 protesters blocked traffic in morton county, north dakota, the sheriff's department is reviewing protest footage to see if any additional arrests should be made. five people involved in the blockade are in custody. >> ( lt. tom iverson /
