((nia wong)) >> sharie. police tell us a 4 year-old girl was shot in her own home...near craig and lamb. this was around 2-thirty this afternoon... and after child protective services and abuse and neglect investigated...an arrest was made tonight...hours after this happened. >> metro says 30 year-old shaletres townsend was one of three adults at the north valley home. they say she...left her handgun in a bedroom where children were playing. according to l went off...leading to the toddler getting shot in the chin or neck area. police are still trying to piece together how this happened but they do believe it was preventable.
