the bonanza gift shop now has a new owner according to clark county records. you know the place. right on the corner of las vegas boulevard and sahara? it's been there forever! ((brittany edney)) >> paul... as the huge sign says behind me, the self proclaimed world's largest gift shop---just sold for a very large price--- $50 million dollars to be exact. property sold on friday to an area business man. this is just one of the many changes were seeing on the north strip. with the lucky dragon set to host their grand opening in december.... and world resorts slowly coming together down the street--- there's a lot of build-up happening along this section of the strip. shoppers say the bonanza gift store has been around for ages and they hope the new owner keeps things the same. about 60 percent of the votes in clark county are expected to be cast before election day this year. across the state more than 118-thousand have voted already. so here is the party breakdown of who has voted so far: a little more than half of them in nevada are registered as democrats... and about 38 percent were republicans./// ((denise valdez)) a manhunt is underway in the oklahoma city area for a man accused of a violent crime spree. authorities are on the hunt for -- 38 year old michael vance. po suspects who fired shots wounding two police officers sunday night in a town northeast of oklahoma city. one suspect was arrested -- but vance got away in a squad car -- where he drove to a mobile home park, stole another car -- fired shots at bystanders -- and hasn't been seen since./// ((denise valdez)) investigators still aren't sure what caused a bus to crash in southern california... killing 13 people on board. 44 people were on the bus when it crashed into the back of a big rig. the driver of the big rig

if the horses are not claimed... the search for adoptive homes will be the next step./// ((paul joncich)) a hearing is being held to decide the future of a polygamous community along the arizona-utah border. the twin towns of colorado city arizona.. and hildale utah.. were overseen by warren jeffs before his arrest and imprisonment. it is known as short creek by the polygamist community. a jury earlier this year found non-believers were denied police protection... and water and power hookups. so a four day hearing is being disband those police departments. today a key witness... the man in charge of the trust that holds most of the real estate now... testified about how law enforcement in the town operates. he told a federal judge that law enforcement refused to evict squatters and turned a blind eye to property crimes. he wants the judge to take over the city government as well./// ((denise valdez)) caught on camera tonight. a police chase ends.. with shots fired at the police. ordeal. madera police lieutenant gino chiaramonte shows us the damage to the police vehicle. police say at least 14 shots were fired from this ar-15 style weapon. the gun and the suspects' car were abandoned not too far from where the chase began. any one of those bullets could have hit the officer or the female civilian. a woman who was on a ride along to learn more about policing.
