((kirsten joyce)) the week long manhunt for oklahoma murder suspect michael vance is over... the oklahoma county sheriff's office says vance was killed about 130 miles northwest of oklahoma city... after a chase and shootout with

expected to be okay. law enforcement officers tracked vance down after someone reported seeing his car. the massive search for vance began over a week ago after police say he killed his aunt and uncle, shot two officers and was involved in multiple car jackings. investigators say vance had a hit-list of people linked to a previous sexual assault case against him ... and some of his family members were in protective custody./// ((brian loftus)) things are back to normal at florida's fort lauderdale- hollywood airport this morning .. pi dallas was delayed for several hours last night after a bomb scare. this is video of the passengers waiting for their bags in dallas.. a passenger says two men sent text messages that read "your bombs are in place" ... another passenger alerted flight attendants, who took the men's phones. police then removed the two men... fellow passengers were then evacuated. the plane was searched and nothing was found ... officials gave it the go- ahead to then depart for dallas./// ((kirsten joyce)) after the break on 8 news now good day.... a new product ...

more than a month after the official groundbreaking, drivers will start to feel the impact of ndot's $34 million i-15 north widening project in north las vegas. nightly lane restrictions start tonight between the craig and speedway exits and will expect to see cones from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. sunday through thursday. this project will widen the five-mile stretch from four to six travel lanes. new lights, signs and landscaping will be installed too. ndot says it will greatly reduce travel times and congestion, especially during nascar events and the electric daisy carnival. project wraps up in early 2018. what's driving you crazy?
