former maryland governor martin o'malley will be in sioux city friday night. o'malley will stop at his campaign headquarters on nebraska street at 7 o'clock... after he's been in council bluffs... missouri valley... and denison. on saturday... he'll stay in siouxland with events in cherokee... spencer... and storm lake. 3 3 democratic front - runner hillary clinton will also make a last - minute campaign trip to siouxland this weekend. the former secretary of state will hold a rally sunday at the sioux city convention center downtown. doors open at 3 - 45 sunday afternoon. clinton is scheduled to speak at 5 - 15. while she still leads for democrats across the country... in iowa some polls have her just trailing behind vermont senator bernie sanders. 3 3 more than 300 thousand iowans could end up going to a precinct caucus this coming monday night to vote for the presidential candidate of their choice. 3 but what about the iowans who can't make it because they're out of the state on military

party has set up "online" caucusing to let those folks have their say. and democrats are offering a "tele - caucus"... letting military members on active duty call in to caucus. 3 "so one of the things we've done is added a telecaucus. and since iowa has more military famliies than a lot of states... people who are active duty in the military outside of the boards of iowa or overseas... they can come in and do a telecaucus and do it on their phone. and so they can be in a caucus. they can even realign and it's really done exacly like a caucus except they vote by their phone."the democrats are also settting up "satellite" caucuses for people who can't attend a precinct caucus because of a hardship. you can call either party to find out more about those programs. 3 and even folks who are *too young* to vote on monday are getting into the caucus spirit.students at sunnyside elementary school in morningside held their own youth caucus yesterday morning. 225 students from the 3rd... 4th... and

3 the woodbury county board of supervisors hope to lower the tax rate for the second year in a row.the board started working on the budget for the next year. it'll have to spend a little more money to help the auditor handle the extra expenses of a november general election... but taxpayers shouldn't feel the bite of that. 3 "i think that we've made great strides, as i said, my anticipation is that we'll actually be able to lower the tax rate again and that's a great thing for woodbury county families."supervisors also recognized lieutenant tony wingert and deputy david hansen... who saved the life of a missing woman earlier this month. they found 24 - year - old (shun - eek - wah) shaniqwa hayes face - down in a snowy ditch near moville january 12th. 3 "to be recognized by someone from outside our agency is nice and we're really proud. it's one of the first times the board has really recognized as of late to recognize our personnel and

3 the city of south sioux city has named a new police chief... at least a temporary one... after scot ford retired last week.lieutenant ed (may - hawn) mahon is taking on the job. (may - hawn) mahon is a 32 - year veteran of the department. he was born and raised in south sioux city. if (may - hawn) mahon is chosen to be the new chief another person would be appointed lieutenant. 3 "i'm really proud, i've always been proud to serve the citizens of south sioux and honored to do so. it's a great town. we have a great department. one that chief helped build, so i just want to keep continuing doing the work that i can do to keep progressing into the 3 future."(may - hawn) mahon *is* a candidate to permanently replace ford... but the search for a new chief is still going on. 3 hundreds of business leaders from across the midwest will make their way to sioux city this summer.they'll be part of the iowa association of business and industry's annual conference. this annual event brings hundreds of

space.the "space exploration" project has been going since this fall at sunnyside elementary school. third graders have been working with building kits to simulate different machines used to explore space. it's more than just stem education... incorporating "art" as well. 3 "the whole stem is a growing occupation so its important for them to learn different area they might go into when they get older."elements of the project also carried over into the students reading and social studies curriculum. students involved in the project work with a different group on it each day. 3 the founder of a group that got video of planned parenthood executives talking about baby parts says he's innocent. as reporter sarah navoy from our sister station in houston explains... this... after the grand jury indictments of him and another person involved in videotaping the conversations sparked national outcry and debate.

3 big brother is watching uber drivers. here's your c - net tech update. 3 get ready for extreme live streams in your twitter feeds. i'm bridget carey. this is your 3 cnet update. gopro action cameras can now send a live stream of their video to pepescope, which is owowd by twitter. thth means in your twitter feed, you may come across live video from someone recording on their gopro. but there are some restrictions. anyone can see it, but to broadcast you need to have an iphone and one of the newer gopros, the hero4 black or silver camera. the periscope
