have red flag warnings in tech. look at our temperatures it is 50-degrees in broomfield. very, very warm start to our day. and some locations the currents are above where we should be for this time of year. we have 20s in the high country. those will jump into the 50s. and 40s out on the eastern plain. we do have our polar plunge. for those heading to the denver zoo for the polar plunge of course this benefits special olympics. i'm drawing a mind blank. bring me back into weather here. grab the sunscreen if you will be outside today use baa yo want it. noon we will have a few ccouds. temperatures in the upper 60s. and by 2:00. for those doing the plunge 2:00 is when you get to go into the beer garden it will be gorgeous. 70-degreessa mix of sun and clouds. here are the 50s i was talking about in the mountains.

and for the front range upper 60s and low 70s. southeast corner could see those temperatures rise into the mid 70s. we are looking for incredibly state. well above where we should be. denver topping out at 70. well. longmont looking for a high of 68. future cast nice and quiet. a few clouds as i mentioned this afternoon and evening across the front range and along the eastern plains. late this evening a chance for light snow in the mountains. this will be a quick little hit. it will be very light no accumulation. clearing out over night and all morning long tomorrow plenty of sunshine. however we will see clouds increase the western half of this state tomorrow evening and then sunday night into monday morning we will see some snow in those northern mountains. dry conditions for the metro
8:52 am
but a front that rolls through will clear us off. sunday night into monday, monday as well as tuesday. for the metro area very slight chance we will see that snow. monday night a majority of us will pick up a little bit of it on tuesday morning and right now this is looking to be pretty light. that is because look at our temperatures. even with the two systems that will move in, the cold front tonight through tomorrow and then monday and tuesday we still only drop down to the upper 50s. this puts us well above where we should be for this time of year. it is our nice hit of spring which is great but don't let it fool you it's still wintertime here and we have some colder weather as well as some snow that we really are hoping for otherwise our red flag warnings and fire danger as we move into spring will be incredibly difficult and not what we want to see. keep your fingers crossed. >> good heavy hitting snowstorm could be nice. >> give me that two footer. >> not that much. >> yeah but then it will be 60

we are just about 36 hours now until the #eth annual academy awards. and crews are very busy getting everything in place. this is a time lapse of them transforming the outside of the theater. i love it when they do that. >> it's so incredible to watch. and it's a great time for oscar trivia. you ready? jennifer lawrence. youngest actor ever to get four nominations at 25 ears old. also the highest paid nominee this year male or female. >> sylvester stallone had a 39 year break between nominations. he did so good in this one. winner only has 45 seconds for their acceptance speeches. that is probably not going to happen. ann ladies do you know how much it costs on average for women

i'm hillary clinton and i approve this message. her life's work has been about breaking barriers. and so would her presidency. which is why, for every american who's not being paid what they're worth... who's held back by student debt or a system tilted against them- and there are far too many of you- she understands that our country can't reach it's potential... unless we all do. together.
