the hospital later tonight. he underwent a ct scan. he had a migraine that made him feel week. >> kubiak was rush today the hospital with flu-like symptoms. in 2013, he had a mini stroke and collapsed during half time while coaching the houston texans. it's not clear if he'll be on the sidelines this thursday when the broncos play the chargers in san diego. just into denver 7, clinton stop in colorado. he's going to campaign in pueblo on wednesday and she'll be here a few days before officials send in mail in ballots and those will go out october 17th. denver police are looking for a gunman, two people were shot near 27th and larimer street early this morning. one of them died. details surrender rounding the shooting are vague, but we know the wo people shot were males. this is the same area where three people were shot

that was left unattended and the bomb squad was called in. several flights were delayed. but no explosives ended up being found. the all clear was given and the airport was able to regain -- to germany. an entire city on lock down as police look for a mmn planning a massive attack using explosives. the 20-year old jamaal is behind bars. he's from syria. investigators his apartment and they found internet searchs on his computer on how to make explosives. german investigators said he had been on a watch list since september. syrian friends of him recognized him on a wanted poster and alerted authorities. for the first time in 2 weeks, commuter rail is back to work since a train crash that killed a woman and injured hundreds others.
investigators say the train was going twwce the speed limit seconds before the crash. hurricane matthew is a tropical storm, but it's causing serious problems. >> the death toll here in the united states is now at 21. thousands of people are still without power as matthew moves out to sea now. flooding is still a conceen. >> here's a look at what city was deal with. we're going to start with north carolina. the video on the top left. that state i the rain ended yesterday and should remain dry for several days ahead, the rivers are lead to more flooding >> in georgia, trees snapped? half following on power lines and knocking out power to thousands of people. that's the video on the top right. trees fell on cars and houses leaving crews working around the clock to clear debris. in florida, more than 6,000

way this morning in colorado spriigs. police say someone drove by a gas station and opened fire. 1 person was shot in the leg. but they should be okay. police say it started as a verbal altercation, but they're now reviewing the surveillance tapes to track down the suspect. back here in denver, two people shot early yesterday morning. the suspect took off before police could get theree this happened near 28th and hine street. 1 person died and the other person shot was taken to the hospital. we don't know who police are looking ffr just about this case, you're urged to call police. now to another shooting. this one near 9th ann lowell. someone shot a man friday night. he survived. the suspect is still on run at this hour. we've been hearing about creepy clowns around town for weeks now, and it seals to be becoming more common. someone in a clown mask assaulted a person. the victim and his wife were walking on a bike path when they say two men in clown

investigating a poosible homicide. the remains were found in rainbow valley near highway 67. an autopsy will be done this week to figure out who the person was and how they died. an arrest was made after a 24-year-old woman was found dead in her lakewood apartment. he shot her in a case of domestic violence. he's facing murder charges. the coroner has not released the victim's name yet. an aurora police officer will not be charged in who was waiving a pellet gunn%- in a mcdonald bathroom. the suspect had minor injuries and he could be disciplined -- the officer could be disciplined becauseehis body camera was not on. a 6-year old grader is accused of stabbing a boy with a pencil. he's being investigateddby police. this happened at caramel middle school.

are working to get a handle on a brush fire. 40 acres have burned. that's confirmed. the albert county sheriff's office says they're deploying crews to prevent the fire from spreading. no word on containment or if there's structures in the way of this fire. we'll keep on top of it. and have the latest throughout the day on the free denver 7 app.
