now. good morning. i'm dara brown. the latest poll shows more than four in ten voters show the contests have soured their view of the republican party. this compared to voters view of the democrats, 54% say the primary has not changed their view of the party. the democrat view is getting more heated. as sanders gains ground on clinton. sanders headed to a rally in alabama where he got an early shot in against his democrat opponent. >> we began this campaign about nine months ago. and when we began, we were 50 points behind. we were 50 points behind the inevitable, the inevitable democratic nominee.

state address today he's under increased criticism. yesterday protesters marched to his an harbor home calling not only for his resignation but his arrest as well. flint's water problem arose in 2014 after a city manager appointed by governor snyder in an effort to save money switched the city's tap water source to the flint river. tested later showed the river lacked proper treatment causing lead to leak into the city's water supply. in california 24 black lives matters protesters were arrested. protesters stop traffic by driving to the middle of the bridge and then chaining themselves to their cars and to each other. they took the action to protest police brutality. westbound traffic was shut down
