could gust as high as 35 mph. chance of precipitation is 100%. new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. reno police need your help identifying the person who burglarized a radio shack this morning... they tell us the alleged burglary happened around 2:30 this morning at the radio shack at 299 east plumb lane. police say this man you see in the surveillance photos broke a window of the business and stole several electronics. the suspect is described as light-skinned with build. jacket.. light colored shoes and dark baseball cap. if you know anything you are asked to secret witness at 322-4900 or you can also text a tip to 847-411 keyword... s-w. reno police are also investigating an incident where a man walked into a laundromat on wells avenue and 2nd street with a gunshot wound to his leg. they tell us this happened around 8 last night.

that the shooting actually happened on east fourth street, near sage street. the man was taken to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries. sad news to report this morning. police say they found the body of 68-year-old richard bleak-ney of sparks in pyramid lake after a 10-hour search yesterday. this is a picture of the washoe county sheriff's hasty team, performing a deep water dive. bleak-ney was reported missing in october after falling from a fishing boat. scary moments for a man at the sparks marina after his boat capsized rescue. yesterday afternoon. the man was sailing in the marina when his boat flipped. he was able to climb on and wait for emergency responders. the man was eventually rescued fortunately, he was not injured. turning now to that armed robbery at u-n-r that was reported wednesday afternoon. university police now say the armed robbery was actually a false report. the woman who reported it may now face charges for giving false information to police. she originally claimed

gun point between lawlor events center, parking garage. and in elko, the city council voted to extend marijuana establishments until according to the elko daily free press, the city council voted four year moratorium on medical marijuana business licenses. according to reports, council members wanted to continue the ban because marijuana is still illegal at the federal level. one councilman who voted against extending the ban said banning those businesses would deprive the city of an opportunity for revenue, and deny people a needed service. a hearing for evidence in an infant death case will be heard in douglas county today, but a judge in the case banned the media and the public from witnessing the hearing. 24-year-old trent getty is accused of killing his 2-month old daughter in january of last year. washoe county's coroner testified the baby's death was due to blunt force trauma to the head, but getty claims his daughter fell out of her swing, while he was alseep.

alternative would only exclude about 6-percent of federal land which has been withdrawn from future mineral development in nevada. there's a program in town that will give you free legal advice if you need help refinancing to avoid forecloser, or if you're trying to buy your first home. the free advice is being offered at the nevada attorney general's office and it could save you thousands of dollars. the program is called "home again', which was first created to help with the states foreclosure crisis - but legislators gave the program the go-ahead to continue through june of 2017. according to program organizers - the biggest challenge is making sure people who can use the program, know its out there. that's why attorney general adam laxalt, and program administrator michele johnson spoke to local help spread the word. the evelyn mount northeast community center pool is currently closed due to a sagging roof. officials say... to repair the roof it is going to cost between four to five hundred thousand dollars. "hope to have the roof and the structure all completely done by september." of this year? " of this year that is the goal right now." during construction the city is proposing a few solutions. for indoor swimming you'll have to use the northwest pool. city officials also hope to open an outdoor pool early ... like the one at idlewild park. if repairs go according to plan... the city is hopeful the evelyn mount pool could reopen in september. o-j simpson is famous both on and off the football field... why a new theory this morning suggests his football career played a role in his off-field troubles and as the investigation into the santa ana prison escape continues.. an arrest

violent confrontation from tuesday night. the video was shot from a helicopter. the deadly confrontation occurred on a desolate stretch of highway in oregon. lavoy finicum was killed during the incident, while protest leader ammon bundy and others were arrested. finicum was one of the more vocal protesters who took over the wildlife refuge earlier this month. a law enforcement official says officers opened fire when finicum reached toward his waistband, where he had a gun. a new twist in the manhunt for three escaped inmates in california. a woman who taught one of the escapees at that jail... is under arrest in connection with their jailbreak. abc's marci gonzalez is following the latest developments. script: from teacher- to inmate nooshafarin ravaghi- now behind bars- accused of helping these three allegedly violent criminals escape from this california jail. yama raawe/esl student "i no idea....really shock." hossein nayeri, jonathan tieu and bac tien duong -

because of their ties to local gangs. there is a 200-thousand dollar reward for information leading to their arrest. mg abc news ny- president obama will make his latest push to advance equal pay for women today the white house announced he's proposing a new rule that will require companies to report pay data by gender, race and ethnicity. the rule would apply to companies that have 100 or more employees. it would require employers to include salary information on a form already submitted to the equal employment opportunity commission that currently includes sex and age of workers. the administration said the rule would help aid investigations on employers that are "unlawfully shortchanging workers" based on gender, race and ethnicity. mister obama is set to officially announce the proposed rule at an event marking the seventh anniversary of the lilly ledbetter fair pay act. that's the first piece of legislation he signed as president. the act loosened the statute of limitations under which workers

a winter warning for drivers. leaving your keys in a running car to warm it up seems like a good idea... but it could actually make you a prime target for thieves. abc's clayton sandell is investigating script: watch these car thieves roll up on an idling car in denver? and seeing it's empty? steal it moments later. this guy scouts a car, parks, approaches and then darts to open the door ? but it's locked and the homeowner sees what's going on and scares the thief away and here in this parking lot you see a thief casually walk, then speed up to get in a car. the driver comes out in time to try to stop him, but it's too late. nats - puffing exhaust cars left running to warm up on cold mornings. cops call them "puffers". bad guys call them a golden opportunity. and police departments across the country - warning drivers not to leave their running cars unattended. nats - gregory kehrl / "less than 60 seconds." that's all it took to steal gregory kehrl's car. bad enough-- but the bad guys also
