school board's illegal attempt to fire him.### ownership of the nugget casino resort in sparks is changing hands. the nugget announced late this afternoon: marnell gaming will acquire the property. marnell's plans for the property include new slot machines, and a complete renovation of the rooms, convention area, casino floor, restaurants and showroom. marnell gaming also owns two casinos in laughlin. this is the second time in just more than two years ownership of the nugget has changed.### one day after the new hampshire primary, the republican field is thinning out. both chris christie and carly fiorina dropped out of the presidential race today. other candidates who did well in new hampshire are looking ahead to the next big vote. dianne gallagher has the latest from washington, d-c. donald trump, r-presidential candidate: "we are going to make america so great again. maybe greater than ever before." donald trump scored a

energy customers to change their energy consumption. tesla c-e-o elon musk is a cousin of solarcity c- e-o lyndon rive. germany's largest automaker is recalling hundreds of thousands of cars because of airbag problems. volkswagen is recalling 680-thousand vehicles of different models in the united states. the company says the vehicles hold driver's side airbags that may have defective inflators from takata. according to takata-- the inflator may rupture and metal fragments could pass through the air bag and hurt or kill the driver. the recall includes several models made between 2006 and 2014. volkswagen plans to notify all owners of affected vehicles about the recall. this is just the latest automaker to announce recalls connected to takata airbags. a local woman's story
