clinton foundation, the case has not moved forward in months. meanwhile, fox news has walked back that original report. trump's allegations come as clinton made her closing argument to supporters making an appeal against donald trump. >> he has spent this entire campaign offering a dog whistle to his most hateful supporters. he retweets white supremacists and spreads racially tinged conspiracy theories. trump was endorsed by the official newspaper of the ku klux klan. do any of us have a place in trump's america? >> and as clinton hammers away on trump for his white nationalist support, his son eric had these words for former kkk grand wizard david duke during a radio interview.

in arizona and texas. while running neck and neck with clinton in georgia. a massive investigation is under way this morning in a search for a missing man after his girlfriend was found alive, chained like a dog inside a metal storage container. the couple went missing in august and authorities in spartanburg, south carolina, inspected the property thursday. after receiving a tip about a sex crime is when they started looking into it. they heard loud banging coming when they found 30-year-old kala brown. >> she's alive and well, and she's obviously traumatized. she told us that she had been locked in that container for two months. >> the landowner and a registered sex offender is now in custody. investigators are searching for the woman's boyfriend, charlie carver, whose car was foun on the property. it gets more complicated and
likely four bodies are buried had. so far, none have been recovered. >> here's another one. harvard university canceled the rest of its men's season after it was revealed men were ranking soccer recruits by sexual appeal and assigning them nicknames. some empathized with their classmates. >> it's a tough issue because the guys on the teams are our friends. people we know and care about. special as an athlete, there's having your season over, whether it's for losing or for a detriment of character. i think hopefully it will be a lesson learned. >> the men's soccer team was having a great year. they were first place in the ivy reg and will forfeit the remaining games. >> civilians and rebels in aleppo, syria, are warned that a humanitarian pause is the last chance to escape before what one

the country on election day. according to multiple intelligence sources, u.s. officials are deeply concerned about and preparing for some sort of cyber chaos next week. current and former officials say an attack on critical infrastructure, including the u.s. power grid, is one of three worst case concerns. one highly placed intelligence source told nbc news, your vote is safe, you just might not have any scale denial of service. in other words, part of the internet goes down, or a cyber attack to disable communications and transportation in swing states. but intelligence sources and a senior obama national security official tell nbc news they believe a more likely scenario is that hackers from russia or elsewhere will try to manipulate twitter, facebook, and other
confusion and chaos. a parallel concern is an 11th hour release of fake documents implicating one of the candidates in an explosive way without time for it to be fact checked and it isn't just the russians. multiple intelligence and law enforcement officials tell nbc news the concern is just as much about nonstate actors, political activists and criminal mischief makers. multiple sources tell an election day attack, they also say they consider the massive and sophisticated internet disruption last month a rehearsal or inspiration for the real thing. >> the activity that occurred on the 21st of october has definitely been seen by many in cybersecurity field as potentially a drill associated with the real event. had the all the signs of what
