>>darya: if family is missing after a fire at their home in sunnyvale. details straight ahead. >>mark: a shooting at 32nd and an allied leaves a one- man injured. full details in a minute. >>darya: it is february. the temperatures feel like the heart of the summer. we are looking at high 70's. beautiful sunshine on the san mateo. we also want to mention a wind advisory in the weather center with erica taking it look at the highs that we can expect.

>>erica: santa rosa could reach 77 later on. i would not be surprised if we start to break some records. a lot of locations around the bay area, this is just a quick look at exactly what we look for later this afternoon. as we turn our attention to current temperatures, upper 50s in fairfield. low 50s along the coastline. future cast 4 does show by 9:00 a.m. we will see the blue on the screen indicating most locations already in the '50s. we could actually start to see 60s in portions of the north bay for inland valleys as well. as we head into closer to lunchtime you may want to consider eating outdoors. we could see some 70's of the north bay, '60s around the bay and into the afternoon dealer does indicate most locations getting into the 70's. a lot of warm weather on tap

as we headed to the afternoon. it is expected to be the warmest day of the week. as we focus in on what is on tap you will notice a cooling trend. >>george: the warmest day of the weekend and the best day of the week on the bay bridge. the backup only reaches to between east parking lot and the 880 over crossing. it is a good ride to the bay ridge. a around the bay area we are not tracking any hot spots. it's the golden gate bridge

ride is good to and from marin county. there are no problems through marin for the ride on 101 south bend. >>james: in oakland police are on the scene of an overnight shooting that happened just of a 580 near the emeryville border. will tran has details. >>will: the victim was sitting in his brand-new red camaro. it doesn't even have a license plea yet. investigators are arriving at the scene into being tight-lipped. when they got here after the shooting they went door-to- door looking for any possible witnesses. so far there have been no witnesses. the only person that might know is the victim and he is currently at the hospital still conscious. here is what investigators told us when we arrived.

>> a victim was suffering a gunshot wound somewhere in the area. unfortunately we do not have a lot of information right now. >>will: when i first got here i thought some of the windows were blown out according to investigators, whoever did this got a clean shot because there are no marks on the camaro ended so far there is no motive behind the shooting. >>darya: another developing story out of the south bay, in sunnyvale a fire broke out at home around 1:00 a.m. in the 700 lots of them carted away. we do not know where the family is at this time. there is a lot of concern this morning. their cars for in the driveway see the we have had live reports throughout this morning showing you that the home was damaged but they cannot account for the family.

>>darya: the search for more human remains connected to the speed freak killers has so far been unsuccessful says the latest find which was more than 1000 bone fragments and a well but was abandoned. investigators say knowledge of three wells could potentially contain more human remains that they have not been able to remain -- they have not been able to locate those wells. convicted killer wesley shermantine mapped out both of the wells which are less than a mile from the first well. in the meantime bounty hunter leonard the dmv have some new clues from shermantine some time very soon. the human remains uncovered in calaveras county earlier this month so far have been identified as to victims of wesley shermantine.

dna tests identified the remains of 16 year-old chevy wheeler scared 25 year-old cindy better-. shermantine led authorities to the property where those remains were found which is the side of the first well. >>james: we're expecting low-mid-70s this afternoon. we will be right back.

>>justine: u.s. marines were killed when their helicopters collided last night near yuma arizona. we have a map of where the crash area happens. we do know that service members were with the third marine aircraft wing. helicopters collided in mid- air. the crash involved " for a huey helicopters. again, the crash is still under investigation and could be at least 24 hours before the names of the victims are released by the marines.

according to investigators who ever did this got a clean shot because there are no marks on the camaro and so far there is no motive behind the shooting. >>justine: about 6700 pg&e customers in oakland are without power right now. this outage began about one hour ago. will we are hearing from pg&e is that there is a wire down said about two blocks away from interstate 580. pg&e crews are on the scene tried to figure out what caused the outage. so far we have not heard an estimate as far as what our will be back fog.

temperatures start to slide more in tune with the seasonal average. mix of sun and clouds as the start the next work week. >>george: at the bay bridge we're looking at a much better ride that we have seen in a while. even though the 580 approach has been backed up the full length of the toll plaza flats there has not been much in the weight of slow drive times. 880 is your best bet to the bay bridge. looking at your ride on the san mateo bridge, traffic was nearly at a standstill.

it slammed into the end of the line. this is new video from the crash site to date. the police are standing guard around the damaged train car. 50 people were killed and more than 600 injured in the crash yesterday. it happened during rush hour. they pointed to deterioration in a rail system in train cars that lacked modern equipment. >>james: we have an update on a national story. a bad train crash of our own. some cars parsley drilled in texas causing several roads to be close to near san antonio. no one was hurt but you can see the real cars on their sides.

at your 7 day around the bay forecast coming up to my next report. let's get a check on the morning commute. >>george: as we move past 8:30 a.m. we are still hot spot free for the drive around the bay area with lighter than usual drive times and a good commute to the bay bridge westbound. virtually no delays coming from the nimitz. the toll plaza itself was at its worst back up towards the braise it never backed up into it. drive times have been 16-18 minutes. a little better than normal for the westbound bay bridge. it is an easy ride with a 13 minute drive time today of foster city coming out of they were. the golden gate bridge ride still looks good.

killers has so far been unsuccessful. they did find more than 1000 bone fragments but since then they have had a very low blood identifying the two other vocations that could contain human remains. both of those locations were provided by shermantine, he mapped out those wells to police and says there are less than a mile from the first law where police were digging. the human remains uncovered have been identified as to victims of wesley shermantine. 16 year-old chevy dealer who disappeared in 1985 ended 25 year-old sydney vander hyde. shermantine led authorities to the property where the

in washington state for whoever shot and killed a state trooper. off we have new video from the scene, the trooper had been conducting a traffic stop and radioed over to dispatch but did not check back in with dispatch if so they send out another officer to check out the scene and that is when they found the trip had been shot. he was rushed to the hospital where he died. there are several agencies looking for the suspect. a few miles away from that in washington state in eight year old girl is in critical condition after she was shot in her classroom at her elementary school. it turns out police say the gun was brought to school by a 9 year old boy. he had it in his backpack and it went off, hitting the girl in the stomach. he was taken into juvenile detention.

story we're following in the south bay in sunnyvale, a fire at a house, the house is a total loss. firefighters are on the scene right now. a family lives here, both cars were in the driveway when the fire broke out. it seems as though they are traveling. lucky for them there were not in the hall when this broken out. craig skalar is live at the scene giving us the latest on what they're of looking at as a cause for the fire. >>craig: they do not know the cause, there are more release thick that the family is in china on vacation. when you see the devastation close-up, you see just how bad it is. fire officials to tell me these things really catch fire and get going. you can see just how bad the

>>justine: sonoma county sheriff's officials have found more than four dozen homemade bombs inside the car of a man pulled over for a traffic violation. police have arrested the 22 year-old after searching his car turned up 49 handmade destructive devices. each of them bigger than a firecracker. authorities also searched his home where they allegedly found that more bombs. he has now been booked at the sonoma county jail on possession of destructive devices, possession of materials to make destructive devices is the driving on a suspended license. what >>darya: from overnight there was a shooting in oakland that sense lineman to the hospital. it happened at 4:50 a.m. just off of 580. will tran and tells us more.
