(justine ) the streets of mexico city were filled with millions of people celebrating gay pride. handmade signs were seen throughout the parade -- displaying pro-gay and pro-love messages. mexico city is considered to have the largest gay pride celebration in latin america. (jr stone) and in serbia. hundreds celebrated gay pride marching in the streets of belgrade. police were seen patrolling the area. this year's celebration was a stark contrast to that of 2010. back then, violent clashes dampened the celebration- more than 60 people were arrested and 40 police officers were injured. (justine) now an update to a story we first brought to you last night on kron 4 news... a stolen dog has now been reunited with her owner. zoey the teacup yorkshire terrier is now back home. her owner tells us... she was likely stolen on thursday when someone broke into her oakland apartment. a woman who saw our kron 4 news story ... says she noticed zoey wandering around lake merritt... we're told that zoey is in great shapeand happy to be back home. but the other items stolen from the apartment.. like an i-pad and jewerly.. have not been found. managed wander on to the golden gate bridge without being hit by car. officers noticed a little furry head popping out from inside of the movable median barrier.. that separates the northbound and southbound lanes. after officers scooped him up... he went to the vet for a thorough exam and a much needed bath. the kitty has no collar and no microchip. the c-h-p has named the kitty bridges and will keep him until his owners come forward. (jr stone) in santa rosa. police have arrested five people for reckless driving during a sideshow. it happened last night in the parking lots of costco and best buy on santa rosa avenue. police say hundreds of people and vehicles often gather on friday nights...saying they drive recklessly, drink, loiter, and play loud music. yesterday morning officers set up cameras to capture the most recent sideshow. as a reslt, five drivers were arrested and six citations
were issued for various traffic violations. (justine) summer skiing is in full swing at lake tahoe. this is video from squaw valley from today. ladies were in bikinis on slopes. and some guys had no shirts on to go snow boarding. the pool is also open. it was 72 degrees and sunny there today. it's been a record season at the resort... so it will be open next weekend and on the 4th of july in the mornings. (justine) melting snow is creating safety hazards on one of the main roads at yosemite park. tioga road is shut down for the season. park officials say they will not open the road to the public until the impacted power, communications, water and sewer systems are safe for operation. and there is no time estimate for how long that will take.
