he believes n-f-l players who passively protest during the national anthem should be fired. the president criticized some in the n-f-l friday night at a rally in huntsville, alabama. the nfl fired back. we've never seen unity like this. 7 owners joined their players on the field. last year, colin kaepernick drew national attention for refusing to stand during "the star- spangled banner." many other players have followed suit. the president said players who kneel in protest during the national anthem should be kicked out of the league. trump also took aim at n-f-l efforts to prevent concussions at the rally. he says they are quote-- "ruining the game." gary says he hopes the dislike for trump doesn't over shadow the message. the president is still tweeting, he says this isn't about race. president trump also took a shot at steph curry and the golden state warriors. not interested in visiting the white house. these comments happened after the president told n-f-l owners to fire players who protest. it was not immediately clear whether trump was rescinding the white house invitation for curry or the entire team. this is how curry responded to the comments... several of curry's teammates came to his defense on twitter as well. as well as other big name n-b-a players including lebron james, chris paul, and kobe bryant. this morning, warriors coach steve kerr wrote an op-ed. he wrote: i've been fortunate enough to
