bruce arians out of a san diego hospital. >> he was released this morning and resting at the team's hotel. the team is in san diego for training camp. he was hospitalized after complaining about stomach pain. he was examined by medical personnel at the stadium before taken to the hospital. he underwent tests and released this morning. carson palmer says it is a relief to have him back with the team. >> our thoughts and prayers are going out to him. don't know a whole lot. it is pretty -- i know he is back and resting, which is great. there is one thing guys in our looker room know that he is as tough as anybody in the looker room probably saying i'm fine trying to get to the field. just to know he is back and resting is great news.

the cardinals have not said what caused the stomach pain. bruce arians is 63 and has a history of colon cancer. >> a tweet that i just retweeted of bruce arians speaking to the media. hopefully, we'll have more from him. a decision could come this afternoon as whether or not the home of the arizona diamondbacks will be sold. chase field currently owned the county but the diamondbacks say the county is not doing enough to keep the stadium up. the county says they can't afford the $100 million repairs the d-backs want. the board of directors is holding a public meeting and they are expected to vote on who to sell the stadium to a private company. the price tag being floated

$300 million to build it. a 3-year-old girl is fighting for her life after being struck by a phoenix police car. >> the little girl bought something from an ice cream truck. she was crossing the street in front of that truck when she was hit by a police cruiser. the officer, as you can imagine, is extremely distraught. >> the officer is not good at all. she is not doing well. our employment service unit folks are here and the critical unit is here. her fellow officer, who are not doing well at this point, as you can imagine. we're going to have to take care of her and her fellow officers. our thoughts and prayers are certainly with this 3-year-old. >> the little girl was breathing on her own when she was rushed

injury. she was last reported to be in extremely critical condition. a 28-year-old man was found shot in front of a home at 51st and southern. he was rushed to the hospital but he didn't make it. there was an argument between two groups of people earlier in the day. no word on any arrests. a deadly shooting in tempe one that started with the victim looking for work. the victim went to a near rio salado and mcclintock. the man asked for a job and the man said he was not hiring. the man looking for work ended up getting shot. it is unclear if he will face charges. a big meeting to discuss the latest in the investigation of the serial shooter.

seven different murders, including a 12-year-old girl. two other people have been hurt. most of the shootings took place in the marry >> i hope they run a red light or not turning a signal on and th infraction. >> the gunman is described as a young hispanic man. believed to use different cars in the shooting like this one you see here, a black bmw5 series or a white lincoln or cadillac. silent witness is offering $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or conviction.

california's newest wildfire is moving towards thousands of homes... wildfire is moving towards california's newest wildfire is moving towards thousands of home. the blue cut fire grows to 47 square miles in one day. flames moving toward the town of wrightwood where only half of the community's 4,500 residents orders. officials estimated that 34,000 homes and 82,000 people are under evacuation warnings. this is 60 miles east of l.a. authorities could not say how many homes were destroyed but they prepared communities for bad news as well and, of course, it can be likely seen for miles with all of this smoke. passengers evacuated from a

it caught fire. u.s. coast guard helped passengers slide down rafts. nobody was hurt. charter bus burst into flames in virginia. everybody got off in time. nobody was hurt. investigators think there was a mechanical problem that led to this fire. flood waters are starting to re showing the devastation left behind. just outside of baton rouge, 75% of the homes are a total loss. 6,000 people are still in shelter down from 11,000 from earlier in the week. a dawn to dusk curfew is in effect due to looting.

for -- warning for ozone. we have a flood advisory out for a small portion of arizona, east of flagstaff and north of i-40. i will show you that in a moment. there is heavy weather up that way. here is the whole state. again, mostly north of the valley is where you're going to find all of the big fun. i think we probably will remain dry in town for today but let's move over near the new mexico springerville. we have pretty good storms with hail involved. over towards snowflake, you're going to encounter heavy weather. if you're traveling up 377 between holbrook and the heber area, you're going to find heavy storms, too. the mogollon plateau, it is sparsely populated but we do have some of the storms popping.

flash-flood watch. be very careful north of the 40 and east of flagstaff. this is very heavy rain. we're seeing real downpours there and it is going to be running off of the front of the mountains. as we move pass the grand canyon up towards page, it is getting busy as well. here in the valley, i think we'll escape with dry cdi and we'll call it 106 or 107 and a bit cooler with a mix of clouds and sunshine. let's bring on the sun as we head into the weekend. >> drier this weekend? >> reporter: that's the plan. >> and 100? >> reporter: drier and cooler. >> we can do that. i'm playing golf. i'm locked in at 100. >> maybe we can tag along.

a dark cloud has come over the "pokemon go" game... a class action lawsuit is over the "pokemon go" game... pokemon go class-action lawsuit filed against the founders of the game. they claim the players their landscaping, peek into their cars. i have said this a lot, can you imagine having one of these characters on your front yard and people are all over your place? the people across the street from the park. that asked the lawyers to ask permission before they put private property for their game and to share their profits with those people.

rumors they have bad blood. amid of a dispute between drake and someone who is part of eminem's records. drake told the crowd that eminem was one of the greatest rapper to get on a microphone. amber heard amber withdrew her serious allegation that he was violent with her. heard said she wishes the best for depp but there is not a corresponding message from him but looks like everything has been settle. lady gaga is set to make a big screen debut in a lead role. she is teaming up with bradley cooper for the hollywood classic
