in connection to this burglary and the death of their dog. but here's the thing. there's one more person that police are looking for, and the suspected burglar that they have behind bars right now says that's who is responsible for shooting their 7-year-old mixed boxer. police say this man was behind a robbery that ended deadly in the crest view neighborhood in north phoenix. the molars' home was ransacked last month. they told me they found their 13-year-old and killed in their backyard. police say they were tipped off after someone saw this surveillance video released last week. police say they went into the walmart and used the car stolen from their home. police say tibets admitted too all of this, including his role in the robbery. but as for who fatally shot the family's 6-year-old boxer, the

mahin khan faces five years in prison. state troopers shot and killed a man on 101 this morning. he would not stop and led troopers on a chase, crashed into several d.p.s. patrol cars that were trying to stop him. two men and a teenager die in an early morning crash. police say the cars they were in hit trees and caught fire on central avenue in north witnesses say those drivers appeared to be racing when they both lost control. again, three people killed in those crashes. several cars are vandalized at a popular hiking spot in the valley. windows smashed out on four different cars at piestewa peak, a fifth car keyed in the parking lot there. the items not taken were not valuable, police say.

walter cronkite school at a.s.u. in downtown phoenix, and it was broadcast here in the valley. it was a wide ranging debate focusing on a number of topic, senator mccain seeking his sixth term as the senior senator in arizona, and his challenger ann kirkpatrick, who has been through a number of hotly contested races herself. they talked about immigration, voicing their opinions about the minimum kirkpatrick supports, john mccain does not, but the most harsh language for ann kirkpatrick's support of hillary clinton and john mccain's once support of donald trump and now his nonsupport of donald trump. take a listen. >> when mr. trump attacks the women and demeans the women in our nation and in our society, that is a point where i just have to part company. it's not pleasant for me to renounce the nominee of my party.
