side of the interstate. it banked to the right as it was going to the airport and clipped one of the powerlines with its wing which caused it to kind of tumble and it ended up in the median." traffic was interrupted after the crash but was moving again by around one o'clock. no identification on the pilot yet. a storm lake, iowa, man faces two counts of theft for allegedly stealing more than $35,000 in cash from two people. those two victims told police that a friend of theirs, identified as 25-year-old simon tasfey stole the money from thth on sunday morning. police say he fled the state, with the cash, on sunday. monday morning, sioux falls police apprehended tasfey. but, the money is missing. tasfey will be returned to storm lake. he's charged with two counts of 1st-degree theft. a northeast nebraska man has been found guilty of vehicular homicide for his role in a deadly crash last year. a dakota county jury convicted

homer, nebraska. he was also convicted of two counts of driving under the influence resulting in bodily injury. roberts was charged for his role in the death of 28- year-old tiffany schmitt in 2014. according to court documents, roberts was driving a pickup around 2:15 a.m. when it went off the road and rolled. schmitt, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thro from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. two other passengers were injured. it's been another mild day, but it looks like a cool down may be on the way. chief meteorlogist ron demers joins us with our first look at the forecast at 5. a cold front that moved through early in the morning brought a line of showers through and a lot of wind along with it. that wind dies down tonight and we'll get to enjoy one more day in the 50s on friday. colder weather will be moving in for the weekend as a system brings us a chance of some precipitation.

(matt) a public meeting is taking place tonight to show preliminary plans for a road project in sioux city. (sheila) people will get a chance to see an update on the 18th street viaduct and hoeven valley transportatio n plan update. the proposed 18th street viaduct project will begin at floyd boulevard and span the railroad tracks. it will end east of the 18th street intersection near steuben street.

and open for traffic, the exsisting crossing will be permanently closed. the 11th street crossing could be closed as well. the meeting starts tonight at six at the council chambers at city hall in sioux city. the sioux city police department and woodbury county sheriff's the june e. nylen cancer center this morning. they donated money their departments raised for men's health from movember and no shave november. the police department gave two-thousand 320 dollars. and the shererf's office along with the treasurer's office and auditor/recoder's office gave 25-hundred dollars. "personally guys like it because they can not shave for a month," said dave drew, woodbury county sheriff. "and it goes to a great cause. so it's been a fun time to do it over the last few years." almost i would say probably atleast 60 some of the guys really can't grow very good beards the money will be used to help patients and their families

(matt) the pilot of a single-engine plane was killed when his aircraft crashed in the median of interstate 29 north of council bluffs thursday. 1 cup finely chopped celery 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet red pepper parsley for garnishing red pepper for carving a bow flame less candle for placing in the center directions: remove crescent dough from packaging (do not unroll). cut each package into 8 slices. arrange in an 11 inch circle on a pizza pan which you have placed parchment paper. bake at 375 degrees for 15 or 20 mins or until golden brown. cool for 5 minutes before moving it to a serving platter. allow it to cool completely. spread spinach dip, or garden vegetable cream cheese, or garden vegetable cheese over the wreath. top with chopped vegetables. line the inside and outside of the wreath with parsley. cut a bow from a red pepper or you may just simply place a small red bow and remove before serving. place a flame less candle in the

serving. this makes a lovely presentation for any holiday party. what could be more appropriate for christmas than ho ho brownies? this is a very easy recipe and tastes just like a hostess ho ho. ho ho brownies 1-18.4 oz. milk chocolate brownie mix 1 can creamy buttercream frosting mix 1 can creamy fudge frosting mix prepare brownie mix according to the directions on the package and cool. spread the buttercream frosting on top. remove lid and foil from the can of fudge frosting mix. place in microwave for 30 seconds. stir a couple of times and pour over the buttercream frosting. sprinkle with christmas sprinkles. allow to set for a couple hours. cut and enjoy! we'll be right back after
