((ad-lib)) a wind advisory is still in effect for the las vegas valley until 6 this morning but gusty winds will persist throughout most of the day. winds pushed temperatures very warm yesterday, mccarran hit 70 around 7:00 last evening and those same winds kept the warmest temperatures came in around midnight to 1am and the into the valley as the cold core of the storm moves force some rain showers to form over las vegas. 2-4 inches of snow is possible in the mountains up above 5,000 sunday will see temperatures climb ahead of the next system more rain showers, gusty winds and highs in the 40s. those chilly temperatures will stick around through midweek and had traffic backed up for

action news reporter marissa kynaston joins us live with the latest investigators were on scene out here for hours this morning-- gathering evidence. they just recently opened up roads again. the accident happened about 3:30 in the morning. investigators say two vehicles ran into each other at the martin luther king and gowan intersection. one driver was sent to the hospital. police say he wasnt wearing a seatbelt. the other-- who police believe caused the accident-- was taken into custody. at this point in the investigation-- police believe speed may have been a factor. but they did say-- as far as damage-- it was one of the worst accidents they had seen in a while. later today-- on action news at three-- hear from witnesses about the crash.

san bernardino... it's because the couple behind that mass shooting their visited the lake on the day of the attack. the fbi won't say exactly what they're looking for, but there are reports they're trying to recover a digital device. they believe the husband and wife came to the lake after the shooting spree, just before their deadly shootout with police. meanwhile, an abc news investigation now revealing that isis has its hands on at least one official passport printing machine. authorities say when the terror group took over syrian cities last year, they took a government passport printing machine that's the kind used by other countries. several fake passports have

jose greer, a 51-year-old cable sales executive there on the left, was a best friend to his brother ernest -- a well-known atlanta lawyer. on tuesday night, soon after jose got home from work a robbing crew burst into his home. in a panic, he jumped from his balcony, plunging more than thirty feet.
