this all happened hours ago near alexander and walnut, but police have been out there investigating all through the night. marissa kynaston joins us now from the scene. marissa what's the latest from police? marissa adlibs scene 21:54:48:22 the male raised the firearm and pointed it at officers, at which time one officer fired several times, striking the male 21:54:55:22 herself inside her home near craig and nellis. officers swarmed the home and tried to get a hold of her on the phone. they say three times she came out with a gun and pointed it at officers. the final time she had a shotgun and when she pointed it at officers, she was shot by a sniper. metro believes the woman had orchestrated the whole situation to be killed by police. we continue tracking breaking news -- a missing woman who vanished from the las vegas

sharon neal who went missing from bally's hotel. she is on medication for bi- polar disorder and depression and has early onset dementia. neal's daughter told police she went downstairs to meet a family member and left her mother in the hotel room at ballys. when she came back neal was gone and officer and hotel security couldn't find her. suveillance video shows neal lost in the hotel...but they still can't find her. if you have seen her or know anything please contact police.... the countdown is on... to the next big republican presidential showdown, and all the action is happening right here in las vegas! heading into the debate, donald trump has a huge lead in the latest national poll. he's getting 40-percent of the vote, that's more than his next 3 competitors combined.

the judge... for his recent drunk driving arrest. collins is due in court january 11th. prosecutors say they haven't filed charges against him, because they're waiting for his blood-alcohol test results and the police report for his arrest. collins was taken into custody friday night, after a multiple car crash at flamingo and koval.

a 91 year old man is killed, after being hit by a car while trying to cross the street in henderson. police tell us around 1 yesterday, the man was illegally crossing near whitney ranch and sunset. the woman driving the car that hit him stay at the scene... and she was not hurt. and a dirt bike rider has died... after crashing on las vegas boulevard, near mile marker 12. that's about halfway between sloan and jean. officers aren't sure yet what exactly caused the crash yesterday morning, but they say the rider was wearing a helmet, and no other cars were involved. a 19 year old is now behind

as we're learning more about what police originally thought was a deadly domestic dispute. police are now saying it all started with a fight with several people in a convenience store parking lot near craig and mlk. the brawl ended in gunfire and 20 year old tineshea antovia adams was killed. norman smith is now under arrest on a murder charge. investigators believe the two knew each other, but they are not saying their exact relationship. north las vegas police also revealing new details in the other woman's murder, near lamb and the i-15. officers say they believe the woman was a passenger in a car stopped on the i-15 off ramp. they say witnesses told them the woman and another person got out of the car, and that's when she was shot multiple times. officers haven't given us a description of the suspect, but they are looking for them. the man accused of holding a teenage her hostage for a month... will not be getting out of jail anytime soon. jimmy carter kim appeared in court yesterday, on kidnapping and sex assault charges.

him-- and now he's suing some of them back! cosby filed a lawsuit against 7 women who who've accused him of sexually abusing them. saying these particular women have been "malicious, opportunistic," and have made false claims against the actor for "their own financial gain." the 78 year old has consistently denied all the allegations against him. he's seeking an unspecified amount of money in damages. army sergeant bowe bergdahl will have to go through a military criminal trial, on the charges he deserted his post... and endangered his fellow soldiers. in 2009, bergdahl disappeared in afghanistan, and was held captive by the taliban for 5 years. the u-s released 5 taliban prisoners for his freedom, and 6 u-s troops died after he disappeared. the deaths were during missions partly aimed at finding bergdahl.

life in prison. new this morning... a maryland man arrested for helping isis--- but he says the fbi has it wrong... and he was actually trying scamming the terrorist group! the man told agents he believes isis gave him 9-thousand dollars to finance an attack here in the u-s. authorities say the man spent some of the money on a laptop, pay as you go phones and personal expenses. he told the fbi he felt he should be rewarded for his success, and they should offer him a job. investigators are still looking into whether or not he was scamming the group. a wild scene inside an oklahoma courthouse.. after a suspected armed robber escapes from police not once but twice! only to be tackled to the ground!! here you see the suspect... who was getting ready to face the judge. he's arguing with an officer... then he takes off running. he goes down the hall, and realizes he's trapped. officers surround him, then....

overnight. let's start with this missing woman she's 55 year old sharon neal last seen at bally's casino... she has health problems so family and cops very concerned. call police if you see her and also happening right now the search for the man who reportedly robbed several eateries in the southwest valley and he was last seen wearing a black bandana over his face! sounds scary -- a tropical smothie and subway robbed in the area of durango and warm springs be careful but call police if you see anyone suspicious.

are saying this all started with a robbery! but they don't know if the man they shot was the robber. marissa kynaston is at the scene near alexander and walnut. marissa what have we learned. marissa adlibs scene police are still here this morning-- over eight hours after the shooting happened. but the robbery happened about nellis. police say it was there-- where somebody was robbed. they were able to tell police the license plate number-- and like. thats how police were able to track down this house-- on king palm-- only about six miles from where the robbery happened. there were several people standing outside the house next to the car-- but then another man started to come out of the house. 21:54:37:22 sgt jeff clark, metro a male, adult male, emerged from the residence armed with a handgun, the officers have verbal commands to drop the firearm, but he refused, 21:54:48:07 thats when police shot and killed the man. they dont know yet if he was
